[UPDATE] Tamashi Features Vol 5: S.H.Figuarts Display
 

Tamashi Features Vol.5 is currently underway, and while we have yet to receive many new updates, many figures that were announced these last couple of days are now on display at the event.

Beast is shown in a display along with a complete line up of Wizard’s Styles and Dragon Style forms.

A complete display of Showa Rider and Heisei Riders, including Kamen Rider Ichigo as he first appeared in the original 1971 TV series, along with a full OOO and Fourze display.

DeluKnight and the Akibarangers makes an appearance at this event, as well as the massive Itashar Robo.

Odin and Femme as well as the rest of the 13 Riders from Kamen Rider Ryuki/Dragon Knight.


And finally, a Sentai display featuring complete teams of Dekaranger, Shinkenger, Gokaiger, and Gobusters, Basco, Red Hawk, Black Condor, and recently announced Mighty Morphin Red and Green Rangers can also be seen in this display.

Was Figuarts Powerdizer ever released at retail?

Anything new to see (and also new stuff that is actually going to come out unlike Malshina, AkaRanger, Rio, and Mele)?

It was a Tamashii Web Exclusive a few months ago. Not exactly a popular release either, so no way it's going to make it to retail.

Man, that tiny Garo display is sad. I really hope that the new show inspires more Figuarts. Makai Kado just doesn't do anything for me as a line.

Malshina is getting released. Why do you think she's in the Akibaranger display?

Yeah he's hard to notice. You really have to squint at the photo in order to see it. :lol I thought it was the Sakurajima version at first myself.

First appearance Ichigo and darker suit Nigo as well as the Showa Cyclone are new.

What's the difference with Ichigo? To be honest, the only one I'll rebuy is Black if they were to do a new version, especially if he comes with more accessories.

To be honest, for me, Garo is only Garo, Zero, and Kiba.

Yes, but you aren't the guy that made Garo. That wasKeita Amemiya and he made a lot of other awesome Makai Knights. I'd love Figuarts of Kiba, Dan, Baron, Rodo, Ryuga Garo, Zen, and Gai. Garo, Zero, and Garo with different eyes is not enough. Especially with the alternative being fragile and SIC-ish (nothing wrong with that, but I like the show designs fine without all the extra stylization). Give me more Garo Figuarts and I'd actually start buying them again.

It bothers me that they haven't shown Rio and Mele outside of that one event where we first saw them. Whereas Mashina has been seen at multiple events. I want my RinJyuDen!

I know, but I just felt that Makai was vastly inferior to the first season while Red Requiem was completely dreadful.

I'd actually like to see more villains made like the dude from Beast of White Night, Keroberus' combined form, Jabi, and some Horrors like Messiah and the one made of chains.

Any word yet on if it looks like Red Ranger's sword might combine into other things? Like say... A Staff, Daggers, Bow, and an Axe? Maybe to form somesort of Cannon..

Just as well I haven't bought Ichigo or Nigo yet, looks like I'll have plenty of choice for which versions I want.

Agreed :( Even if we only got Kiba and the new Garo suit that would be something.

Given that the sword just balances on the top of the Howling Cannon something like that is a bit hard to tell without the other weapons being present.

Hang on, how long have we known about a figuart Malshina and guerilla marketer?

Since around the time the first season finished. The guerilla marketer is out the end of this month.

It pains me to see the wicked bases they use to display the SIC OOO figures. Why couldnt they have sold those with them :(

It doesn't look like it, since he only comes with one sword. If it could combine, they'd probably include a second version with a peg attached, like what they did for Bouken Red's gun, so that it doesn't ruin the look of the regular one.

I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing the rest of the Zyurangers any time soon anyway, there's three other teams to finish first.

I don't see Mighty Morphin Red and Green Rangers. Where are they?

Knowing Figuarts, the Howling Cannon would be a complete separate accessory that doesn't separate. Much like how I assume MammothRanger's Moth Breaker will have separate axe and gun mode accessories.

We've barely gotten any news regarding SH Figuarts Akaranger since he was announced.

They were in the same display as the Gokaigers…but I must not've uploaded…could've sworn I included it in the attachments

Anyway, are there any new Figuarts on display that have not been shown before? Besides they new old versions of Ichigo and Nigo?

Just those. And then all of the currently unreleased stuff like Odin, Femme, Delu Knight, etc. Though seeing Femme right now probably means she's next in line for release after Odin.

To be honest, I am very under whelmed, especially since wasn't it the last convention they showed off all of the Ryuki stuff for the first time, the remaining Zodiarts, along with many others?

Why are they taking forever getting more Sentai stuff out? They still have 34 more teams to complete, 31 of them need at least their red rangers to start.

Where is Biollante for MonsterArts? Where are the likes of Phoenix, Medusa, and Warz Gil?

I don't like either of those options.

It's only the first day of the event. There's probably more to come.

I dunno, they made the Daisoreta Cannon fully functional...

Any word on when (or if) that Shocker grunt is getting released? My Showa Riders need some guys to beat up.

This is a Taiwanese show, I wouldn't expect anything new here. Tamashii Nations are the events that always have the big new reveals and that won't be until sometime in Summer (as far as I know).

The lack of Sentai releases is disappointing, but that seems to be down to poor sales. On the up side, the pre-orders for MMPR seem to be doing well and I imagine those guys will be pretty popular in Japan too. Red Hawk and Black Condor are two of the only Sentai figuarts that haven't been dramatically slashed in price within minutes or ended up for pennies on the second hand market.

And I think that's because these are characters people care about a lot more. I think we'll see them focusing more on popular characters like this from the various shows, rather than trying to release full teams.

Hopefully they're just saving a lot of the upcoming Sentai releases for Akibaranger airing too, we're bound to get a bunch more reds for that. It's almost definitely why we haven't seen Dragon/Tyrannoranger in Japan yet too.
