:lol I love the stereotypical rocker voice they have for "Dizchord"
EDIT: so Emma can sing? and apparently they aren't goin' with the only the sky team can hear it? :lolol at the teacher, whats his name again? ...And once again wonder WTH they were thinkin with "Loogies"? correction so the sky team is effected by the noise :lol Okay, if Troy is supposed to be a new guy loner, they sure threw that out after the first episode didn't they? :lol EDIT: oh god, 10 year old swag-idiots, I swear if I hear YOLO.... wait, if Vrak is supposed to have earth armor, is that optional apparently? :lol you would thik they had hangovers the way Troy and Emma are acting :lol Have they even heard of earplugs? And Vrak being a total bad@$$ wiped the floor with those 3 in no time :lol Ol Troy is better than I am, I would have dropped the morpher into the lake already :lol And of course Vrak has "special" armor to block out the noise :lol EDIT: So all they needed was emma to sing? and she doesn't even need a giant satellite? Is that the goseiger song GoseiPink sang in English? Zombats, awesome name, Vrak, awesome, Loogies? WTH I kinda miss the original Zord cockpit footage Samurai had, only thing samurai had that was original :lol "Regrettably Dizchord is longer composing music" :lol I don't think any one is complaining :lol :lol Ernie you have completely different taste in music :lol But I have to say, if I was in that fight I would've got my truck and blared some Brantley Gilbert or Jordan Rager :lol |
I wouldn't expect a detailed plot. I have a felling Megaforce will be rushed, because all anyone actually seems to care about is the supposed "Ranger War".

Episode 6.
If that is truely Christina's singing voice I am right impressed. Her singing puts anything Steven Skyler did to absolute shame. Seems like this cast can do everything the Samurai casy can do but better. Like act :lol I don't understand why they changed part of the story though. In Goseiger when Dizchord attacked Alata and Eri they were hurt worse than any other member of the team because their power is based on the wind. And that's how Diz' attack worked. In Megaforce Troy and Emma were affected worse because they arrived first.. They're powers are still based on wind so there was no reason to change it, but they did. I know, original story, all of that. But that one detail could've stayed the same and not affected anything, and would've made a little more sense then "We were here firsties". My opinion anyway. And then we come to Vrak and something only someone who's seen Goseiger would get nitpicky about. In the last episode, when he attacked the Rangers for data, he was in armor. The armor was part of his costume when he joined the Yuumajuu in the second arch of Goseiger.. after Warstar was well and defeated. And this episode happened a few episodes into the begining of the series. So... no armor. I know, it's a minor continuity thing, and it'll only bother me because of how long I obsessed over Goseiger. But it's there and it bothers me. But Vrak's voice is so damn good for that character I'll forgive it. Because damn. Said it before, say it again, if that is her voice.. She is really seriously good. And maybe I'm reading to much into this, and they're just really good friends, but at somepoint in the series I see Troy and Emma being together. Which means Jake and Gia, Troy and Emma, leaving poor Blue out on his lonesome :lol Still enjoyed the episode though. So far I've enjoyed these six episodes of Megaforce more than anything in Samurai. They've outdone themselves with this series so far. 4/5 |
:rock:This episode was rock'n

Anyway, lousy as Samurai was Steven Skyler can sure as hell sing. Even if the songs he puts out are terrible :lol |
I'm liking MegaForce more and more with each episode. It's coming back nicely after a disappointing start. A few thoughts from this episode:
I hate how one-dimensional these characters are. Is being a complete tree hugger Emma's one and only personality trait? I don't think I've heard her open her mouth and not have something about the environment come out yet. I loved that Mr. Burley and Ernie liked the monster music. Honestly I like those two better than the rangers' characters. I could tell this episode took a lot from it's Goseiger equivalent. I've heard a few complaints about that, but I actually liked it. I found it to be yet another original episode as far as Power Rangers goes. And I couldn't help but enjoy the somewhat Sentai-like feel this episode had. All those dancing loogies reminded me of Kyoryuger which I love so far, as silly as it is. I'm excited for the rest of the series now. If the episodes continue to get better in general, as they have so far, it could actually end up being really good by the end. I'm just begging for some character development, because they have needed lots of it, and bad, since episode 1. |

anyway a decent episode all in all, but still a major lack of command center and gosei. when the rangers were attacked by music that was the percect chance to teleport them to the cc and regroup. at least thats what zordon and alpha would have done. |

Eh, I thought that was a pretty weak episode to be honest. Bad lip-synching aside, the whole Emma singing sequence was a bit much with the magically growing flowers blowing in the wind. I appreciate that they gave an (albeit weak) reason that Vrak came to Earth in a completely different form, but I wish the rangers had picked up on it too.
The best bit - "I'm afraid Dizchord is no longer composing music. Now he's decomposing." :lol |
The episode was ok. It wasn't great but wasn't bad by any means. It didn't feel like it really further develop the overall story of this season (to ultimately get to the ranger war and hopefully explain in Power Ranger terms why it happens). This episode can be deleted and nothing is lost.

I hope we do get some more background if not on the rangers or ranger history, but at least on Gosei himself. I know we never got a whole lot of background on Zordon, but... Hmm.. I don't know. I think it would be worth exploring. Maybe we will when RoboKnight shows up. |

I agree with you guys, we haven't seen Gosei since what? Episode 1? Didn't hear from him since a few episodes ago. :lol
I juset think Saban is messing with us, I mean last week we all argued over Jordan, now we disscuss Gosei's appearance :lol what next week we discuss Robo-Knight? Well as long as Sentai is here we will :lol no offense Sentai |

This episode was ok, I guess. I understand why Troy and Emma were affected by the sound more than the other rangers but it would have been nice to have an explanation. Like others have said, just teleport them all to the command center and do a little line like 'because you have powers of the sky, you are more in tune with air and sound' or something. It's sad that we've seen the interior of the bad guys' spaceship more than the command center.
Also, it drove me crazy how bad Emma's 'singing' didn't synch with her lips. No excuses, it was poorly done. Oh, but I was surprised they said that Emma's mother is deceased. It's almost as if they were trying to develop her character or something. |

"The path of the righteous fan is beset on all sides by the inequities of the straw-fanboy and the tyranny of companies who don't care about quality. Blessed is he, who in the name of quality and good adaptations, shepherds the weak through the Valley of Power Rangers Samurai Levels of Suckiness, for he is truly his fellow Mod's keeper and the finder of lost Toku fanboys. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy Gosei Knight's Awesomeness. And you will know my name is Sentai when I lay my vengeance upon thee." |

But I swear if they screw him up, me, you, and anyone else who loves Gosei Knight will go to Saban's house and riot :lolol (Also, do you think they might release SHF GoseiKnight over in US?) |
Just saw it. This one kinda sucked.

" >O TURN DOWN DAT MUSIC!!!" "=3 thaaaaaaannk yew. <3"
|
Ehh not my favorite, but not horrible...I really enjoyed Christina singing though.
|
Am I the only one that feels like there could be something between Emma and Troy? Haha.
As mentioned before, I kinda wish they had explained why Emma and Troy were more affected by the music than the others and I guess I missed that there was a reason that Vrak came to earth...unless it was the whole "I orchestrated this" thing. |
