Bluefin June/July Releases: SH Figuarts Beast, Flame Dragon and more!
 

Bluefin USA has updated their release schedule regarding import items for later this summer, offering a multitude of Kamen Riders for American buyers. Items on the list include-

*Kuuga Mighty for 27.99
*W Cyclone Joker for 29.99
*Decade for 31.99
*Wizard Flame Dragon for 38.99 all in June

and Kamen Rider Beast for 37.99 in July

Hm... It'd be nice if they could release Phoenix (Phantom) for a decent price.

I think I'll just try to hunt down the Violent Emotion Decade, since from what I understand...the head sculpt on that is much better.

Eh, since I'm getting the W stage, I'll stick to my Beast from AmiAmi.

If the pictures is any indication that is "Violent Emotion" Decade. As this is a re-release, and probably the standard, the "VE" part might just not be on there.

There's no way they'd go back to the previous headsculpt mold. That thing was shooooooddddyyyy.

Still waiting on my Wizard Flame Styles....hurry the fuck up Bluefin. I could have had the damn thing by now, probably even for cheaper, if I hadn't preordered from them on Amazon, this is seriously annoying.

Anyways, would be tempted on Beast if I weren't taking a hiatus on buying figures. Plus even if I do buy another figure some time, I think Ryuki is next on my list.

Bandai hasn't bothered to reissue the original Decade. Every release of SHF Decade since the VE Decade first came out has been the VE version. No reason to expect this to change now.

Decade is a good thing, but what happened to Kabuto getting rereleased?

That's a pretty good point. I might just finally give up on original Decade and get the VE edition. I'll just be throwing on the normal head anyways... But is it missing any accessories?

The card printout isn't included, but the card-holding hands are still there. I know there was a PDF of Figuarts-sized cards floating around on the internet, but it's been a while since I've downloaded it, so I don't know if it's still around or not.

Have any of you guys had any luck preordering Kamen Rider Figuarts from amiami lately? I've been collecting them since they first came out (HLJ back then) and I've never had issues securing a preorder until about 4-5 months ago wehn just about anything Tamashii related took off.

Decade, Double and Kuuga are three of the four June reissues. The fact that Kabuto isn't listed doesn't inherently mean anything for whether or not he's getting a reissue.

The bigger questions are why these are apparently going to come out the same month as their Japanese release while Beast won't be until a month later, why Wizard Flame Dragon will be two months later, and where the hell is the Faiz reissue?

Ordering Figuarts from AmiAmi has been a pain for years now. I think the point where it got particularly crazy was the preorder for either IXA or Cyclone Joker. It's even worse when AmiAmi's update night is also bogged down by a bigger, more rabid franchise also buying something the same night, like One Piece.

Back when the reissues were first announced I asked Bluefin on their facebook account about Ryuki and Kabuto and they just said "ryuki yes". Implying no on Kabuto.

Which is stupid considering he's a lot more scarce than Kuuga, W or Decade.

BTW, did Bluefin even announce the Ryuki reissue?

Wasn't all that long ago. Few weeks maybe?

They're coming to the US at the same time, because they're just re-releases and won't sell anywhere near as well as they did during their first run. Beast and Flame Dragon are new releases, thus the initial shipments will all go to Japan, where they're going to sell in much bigger numbers.

Japan is even getting Tyranno and Dragon Ranger a month or two earlier, so there's no way that wouldn't happen with Kamen Rider.

How different are the Dcade heads? Does anyone have a shot of both Figuarts and the show side by side? I don't see a difference between the two when I look at them alone.

Of the reissues I'll probably look into getting Decade, I already have the rest. Decade and Faiz are the only KR series that have Figuarts that I don't have some version of yet.

Have Beast on pre-order at AmiAmi and I'm sure I'll have picked up Flame Dragon on Mandarake long before the US release. Although at the rate that Flame style ISN'T appearing on Mandarake, maybe that's not true. If the US release of that hits soon I may end up getting it locally rather than cheaply.

When did Kabuto get rare? I bought mine on Amazon for like $25-$30 shipped, in the last 6 months at the most.

I honestly don't see a difference between the two other than one's green is a little bit brighter.

Well, for a start the face is a completely different shape (look at the silver around the mouth area). Other than that, the eyes are further apart on the original, the little yellow bit is smaller and the weird ridges on the forehead are much more prominent.

it looks like the face is inaccurate on both sculpts. I'm not going to worry about it. Whichever one they reissue is the one I'll get.

Wow, I never realized how awful the original Decade's face was.

Also, the original Decade had many QC issues reported. I know on mine, you could remove the eyes and the cards from the helmet completely.
