Tamashii Feature Vol.3 Akibaranger Showcase
 

Even though they are named the Unofficial Sentai, Bandai have no problem getting behind the Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger line! Showcased at the Tamashii Features Vol 3 event, Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger is certainly the center of the attention.

Among those seen at the event include:

• Akibaranger life size suits as well as a 1:1 scale Itarsha Robo
• Akibaranger Figuarts of the main cast with helmet on and off as well as the Villains
• DX Itarsha Robo in bot mode and the Prius vehicle mode
• MMZ-01 Akibaranger's gun/henshin device
• Akibaranger Chibi figurines

Wow. Okay first: I still really want that Henshin/Blaster for some reason. But second.. Congradulations. You finally made a Sentai mech I want no part of. Looks like someome took a paintbomb to a chinese knock-off alternator.

And has a serious question: This series doesn't count right? It's just a joke, yea? I mean they aren't seriously going to go with this after Gokaiger... Are they?

Well, Go-Buster is the official Sentai team after Gokaiger...

Dude, calm down. It's unofficial and made for older Sentai fans. GoBusters is the official sentai series for the year while Akibaranger will be running along with it.

As for the figures:

1.) The fact that the car is a Prius is hilarious.
2.) I wonder if the scaled version of the car is going to be released. And if it is will it transform into that robot mode or is that just a separate display piece. It's a big accessory item, so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.
3.) The Moe Moe Zukyun being released as an actual RP toy would be just wow...I'd be tempted.
4.) I really, REALLY hope those alternate heads come with the Figuarts Akibarangers.

I hope one episode has them sitting around playing "The Game of Life" being pretentious douches :lol. I also echo the hope the alternate heads come with the figures.

If those heads indeed come with the standard figures, they just shot up in my want list.

I'm surprised by how all-out they're going with merchandising for this. SHFs immediately? Even of the villain and grunt?? Wow. Good for Bandai, I guess, but it's still a strange one to be doing this for.

I think I'm gonna collect all the animu Akibaranger toys (the chibi ones and the helmetless ones)

Because, Yellow is too cute. And because, helmetless (I want helmetless Gokai Pink now :C )

Does seems like the Alternate head might be a separate figure though :(

I'll buy it again just for the heads.

I like 'em that much.

If they come with those anime heads, then AWESOME, they're on the list. But if they're separate, when I'll be "WTF?!"
