What would be some good evil rangers to feature in a panel?
 

So NDK's panel submissions go live on Sunday and aside from my Sentai vs Kamen Rider Game Show panel, I want to do one titled "The Darkside of the Spandex." My plan is to show clips featuring evil rangers and riders (Shadow Moon and Ouja are a must), but I'm trying to decide on who I should show for evil ranger villains. I know I'm definitely going to do the Neiji Rangers from Mega and the Hana Rangers from Kaku, but who else should I do?

Okay interesting, one question though. Is this for Super Sentai, Power Rangers or both?

Just Sentai. Why?

Anyway, I just remembered AbareKiller, Rio, and Mele. How did I forget them?

Because if it was looking at Power Rangers, I would suggest SPD's A Squad. Love those guys.

Interesting, but without DVDs, I have no way of getting the footage in high quality. Most of the Sentai/Rider footage I show are usually taken from my DVDs unless they are plagued with stupid DRM that makes the screen go blue.

Rio and Mele definitely (I know you remembered, but I just want to reinforce their inclusion).

Other possible candidates are Gai (Ryuki), Punch and Kick Hopper (Kabuto), Wolzard/Wolzard Fire (Magiranger), and, if you're willing to include Power Rangers, A-Squad (SPD).

EDIT: I guess you could nix the A-Squad stuff if video quality is an issue.

Oh and as far as evil riders go you can't leave out Eternal. Whether you love him or hate him he was a villain that got shit done.

I don't agree.
That statement could be added to any evil movie Rider by virtue of their actions being the driving force of the movie.
I would personally leave him out because, ultimately, his actions only had one repercussion, which was force Double to use T2 memories.
What's the difference between a T1 and a T2 memory? The color the the tip. Spectacular.

The other reason to leave him out is because he's a movie rider, thus his actions held no effect on the series proper, much like the Ryuki riders.
It's why I suggested Gai rather than someone like Ryuga or Verde.

Oh, and Odin could be a good one.

Those are 3 fantastic examples of how to do more serious evil sentai. If you want the funnier but equally awesome ones then go with

Galaxy Sentai Gingaman (Fiveman)
Flowery Kunoichi Team (Kakuranger)
Boso Sentai Zokuranger (Carranger)

Eternal destroyed Fuuto tower, as well as introduced the concept of NEVERs.

Caucasus killed Gatack and introduced the concept of hypertime.
I don't see anyone rallying for his inclusion.

BTW, I just realized no one has subbed the MegaRanger episodes with the Neiji Rangers yet. DOH!!

Finally, I should mention that my panel will only be an hour long, so it is definitely impossible to show footage from every character in Ryuki.

So you could perhaps drop Gai for Odin, then.

That's because I haven't gotten to Caucasus yet :p.

But in all seriousness, they did bring up the destruction of Fuuto Tower at the beginning of episode 45 (brief as it was) and Kamen Rider W Returns: Eternal also exists to not only further develop Katsumi, but also to explain why Kazu Jun (Utopia Dopant) was a NEVER.

That didn't happen dude. He didn't kill Gattack. He beat Gattack senseless long enough for Kabuto to steal the Hyper Zector. Then Gattack was sent back to Earth in an escape pod.

Did Goranger have an evil counterpart team?

Also, do Burai and and Mikoto Nakadai count? For that matter, if you fought against a Sentai team while wearing spandex, but turned good, do you count at all?

Could've sworn he died in the pod. Oh well. He never made it back, since Kabuto Altered the timeline.

He faints just as history starts to be re-written but really at that point you could say everyone died, since they ceased to exist.

Either way this is the sentai section and evil riders aren't really evil rangers so why are we even talking about riders in the first place?

But death isn't the same as ceasing to exist.

And while the topic was concerning evil rangers, he did bring up that the panel was including evil riders.

Does guys that only wear spandex after they turned good counts ?. If so I nominate Loki (Gaoranger).

I'll keep him in mind. I mean, I plan to show some other villains too, it's just that I am mostly going to be talking about evil rangers riders.
