And beast hyper is coming

Woohoo! Beast Hyper is coming up! That at least promises to be a fun ride, as Beast is the more fun Rider here.

I have got to admin, the actress playing human Medusa is damn good.

I did NOT see that coming. I was kinda hoping that we would end up with Phantom sisters but it looks like we're going to get another Wizard at some point. Most likely she will show up again in the movie or, given the lazy writing, never be mentioned again. FORGET, NOW!

Holy shit! Whoever it was that called it in last weeks discussion thread was 100% right. Mayu is gonna be a damn Wizard! That's awesome! Never would have thought they'd go that direction but this is certainly a welcome development, completely surprised.

Yeah, this was cool as hell! So surprised and pleased. They're really getting some nice moments here and there in the series. First the end of Phoenix now this!

If she comes back as Kamen Rider Witch like that rumor last summer suggested I'm going to have a stroke.

This episode was REALLY good. :eek:

First of all,I haven't seen anyone here say this but,anyone who says Kamen Rider isn't dark anymore has to watch these eps.The monster took the form of someone's sister,kills their family,joyfully rubs it in the sister's face,basically ruins her ENTIRE life and almost makes her become a monster herself.I mean DAMN,I didn't really expect something like this from Wizard.

And also,OMG a possible female Rider introduced within the show!!!
They couldn't have set this up within these two episodes just to forget about it later.If "Witch" were to appear in the show,she'd probably be the one to take out Medusa because of the whole "having one actor play two characters in the same show might get confusing" thing.This was so out of left field,I was expecting the possibility of the same actor playing two different monsters but not THIS.

I just watched this ep a few minutes prior to this post and I'm just awestruck at the possibility of an in-show female Rider.I was on the edge of my seat wondering if they were actually gonna go through with making her despair,but this is 10x better.I REALLY hope they do this,we need a progressive Kamen Rider series with a female hero that doesn't die immediately after her first appearance or disappears into obscurity. *cough* Kivaala *cough*

If this is how Wizard is gonna make a name for itself,THIS is how and I'm all for it. :thumb:

I will believe that when I actually see her show up again with rings and a driver. But it does seem like that's where her story is headed and that is awesome. This was a great episode of what is rapidly becoming a really good Rider series.

Yeah as exciting as the possibility of it is, I am tempering my expectations. A fully-costumed, tv-show-introduced female Rider would be great, but I'm realistically expecting her to show up in normal clothes with maybe a driver and some rings. Think Pink Buster more than Kivala.

Curious that he didn't give her a belt and be on his merry way like he did Haruto.
I hope the training does mean she might be a stronger wizard than Haruto. That'd be an interesting turn of events.

Oh, Medusa can act? Woah, when did that happen. Oh, what? We'll be waiting for Mayu to return to take out Medusa, so she won't have a prominent story arc again until that? Well, yippee skippee.

So, the question is will she return in series proper as a full fledged rider, will she be movie only, or will she just be forgotten?
(BTW, If she returns episode 30-35, kills Medusa then, that'd be a perfect time to bring Phoenix back)

I'm not sure if Maya is going to become a wizard or what. If White Wizard and Wiseman are really connected, I think they might be trying to turn her into a super phantom or something.

Maybe she'll be a primarily yellow Rider to balance out the missing female yellow from Kyoryuger :lol

In all seriousness though, this was a really good episode. Psychologically dark, and ending on a note that (if it actually follows it up well) could propel Wizard into being a really good series.

No, that's going too far.
Virtue of possibly having a female rider wouldn't make it really good by default.
Having a female rider survive, however, would be a different story entirely :lol

Nice twist this episode, I was expecting twin Phantoms but this plot development may be better. I won't get my hopes up but I would love to see a female Rider this season.

Since I can't add anything to the whole "zOmG lady Kamen Raida!" discussion, I'll settle for pointing out that Haruto's reaction was a nice way of bringing up the usual business about being a Kamen Rider sucking without just saying it out loud.

This episode is unbelievable in terms of the story twist at the end, and the great acting we got from Mayu. With her ethereal beauty and great acting skills I hope she'll be a famous Japanese actress one day.

I am really, truly hoping that a female Kamen Rider will show up and stay around for some time. They can kill off Beast for all I care, as long Witch can take his place. :lol

As we didn't get spoilers for a female rider yet, I guess we won't see her in the very next episodes... I hope it's not for a movie.

Maybe the shy golem familiar will be hers ? It has been introduced, but not used to show in fact how cool it is.

I have been reading elsewhere that the actress playing Koyomi has had her schedule taken up with other jobs, hence why we barely see her anymore. There's speculation that Koyomi was meant originally to have this story arc but they couldn't rely on her being available so they created Mayu as a last minute change.

I really hope they don't kill Beast off. But, if they do make a female rider, I really hope she doesn't get killed off after 2 epsw. And that we get a retail figuart of her.

Beast is the most likable Rider on here! Why would you want to kill him off, Marvelous? If anything we should get the female Rider and she lives AND gets a Figuarts.

Interesting and disappointing.

So getting sick of TVN's subs just not downloading for me, I finally broke and switched to OT for this episode... (And honestly it's not that bad. The translating didn't go overboard like I feel they've done before. Although I do miss the colored text. :P)

But this was a fantastic episode. I really hope we don't have to wait too long to learn its ramifications. But of course with Beast Hyper next week, it seems they aren't ready to do much with Mayu just yet.

I can buy it. The same thing happened with the dude who played Drake on Kabuto.

Just watched 26 and 27 today and all I can say is this show is getting better and better every week. I knew once Beast came in things would pick up, but hot damn, the last 10 episodes have been nothing short of greatness. I cannot wait to see what happens when Mayu returns.

Well, this is an interesting development.

Don't get me wrong, I happen to like Beast, but if I had to choose between one of these two to be the secondary Rider it'd definitely be Mayu/Witch. A female Rider as a show regular has so much possibilities compare to another male Rider.

Do tell....
