S.H.Figuarts Riderman Review and Photo Gallery
 

Once again, Toy Reviewer Shishioh brings us a review of the latest entry in Bandai’s S.H.Figuarts Line, and the latest Showa Rider to see a release: S.H.Figuarts Riderman, the first Figuart to feature a realistic head sculpt!

Riderman comes packed with a set of alternate interchangeable hands, along with his signature Rope Arm weapon. He also comes with his Power Arm and Drill Arm alternate weapons, as well as an attachable wire for the Rope Arm. Riderman also comes with two scarves, one stationary and one flowing.

Great, now all we need is Kiva and Hibiki and we should have them all... Unless I'm forgetting someone which I probably am.

Other than the upcoming X and the shown-off Blade we still need ZX, ZO, J and Shin.

While I'm not a huge fan of the Showa Rider designs, I'm glad that the realistic face sculpt turned out well…at least from those photos. Opens up doors for the line.

That's not even all of them. There's still some Riders missing, and Hibiki has two more forms.

Heh, G sadly has a better chance than J, Jin and Enter Buster. :(

Yes, and he needs to come with wine bottles and glasses. :lol

Honestly if they didn't release a Figuarts of a one-shot character while the iron was still hot, I doubt we'll see one at this point in time.

And this is getting way off track…could we go back to talking about Riderman please?

Riderman always had that weird helmet with the uncovered mouth area. It's striking, surely.

There are around 100 of those in total, and they've only shown 10% of those in the show and the movie...

I've never even seen all of Hibiki, and I want all those Hibiki Riders. Beautiful suits. Riderman though? I always found him the weakest of the Legendary 7. I don't like you can see his mouth, I don't like his rope-arm, I don't like much about him. Just not for me.

and Aqua Rider

I actually like Riderman's atypical design. It's something that we haven't seen since, and unless Tackle gets retroactively titled as a Rider, it's still something that's entirely his own.
Bugs and themes get reused, but only one has the exposed mouth.

Riderman, being bought so everyone can have their Figuarts jump rope :P

They're all movie riders though.
Kiva and Hibiki are the only two main riders that still need releases, since X and Blade are coming later this year.

While they are movie riders, Toei puts them in the main rider Parthenon.
And yes, I am just saying that because I need a Figuart ZO in my life :p

well ZX is still showa, and appeared with all the other riders in Black RX, so we need him and then Kiva and Hibiki to have the main riders

Damn, he looks excellent. Gonna definitely try and pick this guy up soon.

It hasn't officially. We just know the figure exists from events and there's a lot of fan theories and speculation that suggest it'll be out soon.

Yeah, ZX J and ZO always appear with the other riders, so I'd still count them too. But if you only want Riders that had their on TV show, we're nearly done.

It wasn't. But they're doing a promotion at the moment where they include free Tamashii stands for all of the Heisei Riders, with one for Blade coming with machine winger in May. It seems strange that they'd release a stand for a figure that hasn't been released, especially since they aren't doing them for Kiva and Hibiki.

And since the non-exclusive releases have probably ended with Odin for the Ryuki guys, it's fair to say Blade will probably take over in July. It's all speculation, but it's pretty safe to assume he'll probably at least be out by the end of the year, like I said.
