So, we learned this week that there are five other main Voltasaurs from Kyoryugers' past- Ankydon, a Pteranodon, a Plesiosaur, a Cephalasaur, and a Brachiosaur.

We know the Pteranodon is Gold's, any guesses for the other three and how they play into Kyoryujin combos?

I think the past five will form Kyoryugers second mecha.I do like that it took all 5 to be in Kyoryuzin to activate the sword.gave them a reason even though only 3 Voltasaurs were used in the combo.

My favorite part of the episode was definitely the fact that they needed all five to use the Pentablade. It explains the rainbow colors on the blade and it now makes Kyoryujin a more complete mecha properly representing the five despite omitting two mecha.

I'm surprised at Ramirez' accent, I thought the actor was a native of Japan and thus would speak Japanese like any local. Perhaps he's just playing the "foreigner accent" stereotype.

So who in here is gonna collect Gashapon points for the Gabutyra sleeping bag?

That really bugged me because I've heard him speak in Japanese at Otakon and Katsucon. He can turn the accent on and off. I find it odd that Kyoryuger would make him play the 'foreign accent' since it makes no sense for the show.

So here are my guesses for the upcoming Volsaurs:

Ankydon - Hammer arm
Pteranodon - Kyoryu Gold's mecha, a center bot
Plesiosaur - takes up two arm slots + a back pack
Cephalasaur - Another arm mecha
Brachiosaur - has it's own robot mode but can combine with four other arms (like the Triassic Megazord).

Just my guesses. No proof....yet. :P

We already know the Pteranodon and the Pachycephalosaurus. Pteragodon and Bunpachi.

That was a great episode. I'm still not entirely happy that Kyoryujin is a 3-piece mecha, but I'm really happy that they addressed it.

Look at this screen shot, what is that giant blade-thing coming off the front of Brachiosaurus?

I think that's its tail.

I must find the kyoryuzin rock song that was playing during the mech battle.

I freaking love the hell out of this show!

Man that pastry monster without his teeth…I gotta say is pretty nightmare inducing.

This episode was pretty good. I thought the 'cavity monster' idea was kind of lame when I saw the preview last week but I ended up really liking 'him'. I don't think he would have been that interesting of a monster if he hadn't been manipulated by another Debos General

I felt this episode had a balanced mix of exposition (explaining about the other voltasaurs and such),character development (the green and black dynamic), humor, and seeds for future episodes ( Ankydon & the other Debos General ).

What those guys said =p It was really good and after last week and this week I can quickly see Ian becoming my favourite. He's kinda like batman when you think about it (in personality at least) =p

I also learnt blue's name, Nossan. Okay so it's his nickname, but it'll do =p

I pity Candelilla. It was finally her time to shine and she had the spotlight stolen from her. :lol

That said, she is still one of my favorite designs of the Deboss. My sister peeked at my screen when Candelilla was on-screen and she was like, "WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?!?" She thought Candelilla looked freaking disturbing.

I loved this episode. The story-line worked very well. I enjoy that they have to collect all of the emotions, not just the bad ones.

He was MUCH better in Sazer X. I think this was just very bad direction for him.

And another great episode of Kyoryuger has come and gone! Ramirez really doesn't convince with the force accent but I like the idea of his character quite a bit. I also quite enjoyed the plot about making humans happy to feed master Debos, just as I had speculated in previous threads. It'll be interesting to see where else they try too make humans feel joy down the road.

Anyway, it was a pretty fun episode. I enjoyed the role call deviation with Kyoryu Black. It was pretty funny.

With that name, he should have used a Scottish accent.

But he's not Scottish. Hell, he's not even Spanish, he's Egyptian.

A few overwhleming thoughts first.

1) I Need A Sleeping NapTime Gabutyra. And I Will Pay Handsomely.

And

2) No American should ever act in another Toku again. That was painful, and to the Japanese people I am sorry.

Not surprised that Candi would make the most psychodelic cook monster I've ever seen :lol Love it, they need to use her more often, and she needs a damn Figuart. Buy that.

Loved the episode. It had peer bonding, Nossan being pun-ished, loved it.

I think his accent worked for the simple fact that not all Kyoryugers are from Japan.Some might have to learn the language and who knows what actual time period he's from.It might have been rougher for him back then,so they made him sound like he just got the hang of it/was a little rough around the edges.

Sean Connery never played a character without a Scottish accent.

This. His accent didn't bother me whatsoever. In fact I thought it added to the character.

I personally didn't like him. Thats not a crime :eyebrow

Granted his accent did seem out of place,so did his character.I'm just explaining the accent.Course I'm sure we can all agree.....Kyoryu Blue keeps stealing the show with his jokes.Love that he made on at the worst possible time this episode and didnt realize it.lol.

What I'm taking from this is that Ramirez can speak Japanese just fine, they just made told him look like a piss-poor actor

What I'm taking from this is an older fat white ghost with a gray beard can speak Japanese with some sort of accent and communicate with a dancing robot dinosaur with cavities. And that's all I need.

The way the Deboss gather their magic emotion juice makes no sense. Why does a Deboss have to be responsible for the emotion for it to count? Why can't they just take emotions from all over the world without wasting their time baking cakes? It's not like they're gathering the emotions in a magic baggy. If they just fly up into the air and go to that meter in their base, then why do they have to do anything?

I like the show enough, but these villains flat out suck.
