SIC Kamen Rider OOO ShaUTa Combo Prototype
 

Seen previously at Tamashii Nations 2012 a prototype for SIC Kamen Rider OOO ShaUTa Combo has just been revealed in this months issue of Hobby Japan!

ShaUTa doesn't have confirmed release date or status yet (mass release vs. exclusive) but seeing this image can only mean we'll have news of it's release soon. If SIC GataKiriBa is any indication though then this combo will most likely be a Tamashii Web Exclusive as well.

After Shauta's release date is announced, only SaGoZo and LaToraTah left before the set is complete! So excited. Can't wait to get GataKiriBa soon.

Complete my ass! I still need BuraKaWani & Super TaToBa. And they announced TaMaShii as a Hero Saga statue but who knows it could make the leap to full on SIC

I sort of count BuraKaWani, but I usually don't since I don't have the figuart. And they didn't give that form a ranger key.

So, only Tatoba and Tajador are actually out right now, right? Gatakiriba is upcoming and an exclusive, and Putotyra is a main release coming in... may? Am I right?

This is going to be an awkward and annoying line to collect, but it'll be worth it. I have a feeling most of them will be Mandarake purchases for me, since I haven't the Goddammiest how to obtain exclusives.

EDIT: I would also like to see some example of the OOO form swaps. I have Tajador so I know how it's done, but I've never seen it.

I as well would like to see this. And still wonder about Putotyra. The OCC allows the change, so I'm hoping the SIC version does too.

I don't know if PuToTyra will be able to but just based on the fact that under all the armor it's the same "base" mold as all the other OOO SIC's it should be more than capable of it.

It would make sense. FangJoker was able to change with the other W forms, and unlike FangJoker, PuToTyra actually fits with the other combos.

The OOO figures "combo change" by popping them off at the ab joint and neck joint, which are just regular old ball joints. If the balls were the same size, you could combo change with just about any SIC out there. The only additionl step is replacing the combo's solid, opaque chest piece with segmented translucent ones they all come with. So if PuToTyra comes with clear chest pieces, he can combo change no problem.

There's actually no special design with the combo change, you just pop them off the articulation points. Actually that's not true, all their collars can swap as well so you don't have the furry La head with a feathery Ta collar. The only thing Putotyra would need is for the wings to be on that collar piece. I actually kind of hope they aren't, since I hate how his wings are basically giant ears on the show. (well, Putotyra on the show was just goofy and dumb all around, but still)

Just started watching OOO and, though I'm not normally a fan of the SiC stuff, these guys look fantastic!

how does Putotyra fit with the other combos? the body suit is white and the chest medals sticks out further than any of the other combos

He means Putotyra was built with the combo change gimmick. He doesn't mean it fits aesthetically, he means they physically fit together and unlike Fangjoker, doesn't create da horrible two-face monster with half spikes.

Also Putotyra's white suit doesn't even fit with itself.

PuToTyra fits because when combined, it creates a normal looking Kamen Dude.

My point was, if Tamashii Nations implemented FangJoker, who looks horrible when combined, then PuToTyra is pretty much guaranteed.

Yes. That release schedule is correct. You get exclusives through middleman services. I got a couple through Sentai Tamashii here, but he's only doing it by special request after some issues came up. I plan to use Yokatta for future purchases. A lot of people use Rider Proxy.

I posted the possible form changes using only TaToBa and TaJaDor in the cool stuff thread. I'll edit this post with the link to that post after I've found it.

Cool, I was wondering when we'd hear more on the next OOO release for SIC. Looks like it'll be website-stalking time again soon for the next preorder.

I have Gatakiriba preordered, looking forward to that very much since that's what caused me to get into this line to begin with.

I love how SIC deals with the animalistic nature of the Os forms, makes for some sweet ass designs.

If shauta is a exclusive I won't be terribly annoyed or sad. I just hope latoratah is a mass release.
