I loved the part when Beast went "Gao" at the poor guy. He's just such a fun character and I'm looking forward to seeing how Beast Hyper plays out next week.

Hmm, the guy is kind of a jerk, and I feel like I've seen this story before :lol
I kind of liked the safety officer Phantom and how he pointed out that Wiseman's plans really suck.
"Shouldn't we kill the wizards that constantly interfere with out plans?"
"No, because that's not Wiseman's will."
I desperately hope this is foreshadowing to some kind of revolt against Wiseman or for another villain to take him out or something...

Anyway, I'm curious how Beast Hyper operates.
Also curious that Chimera is part of Nitou, not the belt.

This episode was okay. I felt the toy commercial aspect really overwhelmed it this time. The jewelry bo- *ahem* I mean Wizard Ring Box reveal was just so blatant. I thought the comedy was decent, like when those three popped their head around the corner.

I like the idea of a Phantom revolt. Especially if the rebel Phantoms find a way to bring Phoenix back to Earth.

I liked how there was some focus on Beast's interest in archaeology in this episode. I do find it odd that he's able to take the belt off though (I know we've seen it before, was surprised there too), I assumed Chimera was in the belt and it was fused with Nitou.

That makes me wonder... is Chimera inside him even without the belt?

Also couldn't Haruto just feed Mayonnaise his mana like he does with Koyomi?

I'm betting the archaeologist took the belt and rings while Nitou was unconscious. After all, they said he'd do anything for his big break. I agree on the ring box reveal screaming "SELL MOAR TOYS!" It was ridiculous, especially considering Haruto already has a belt for them... Not an episode ruiner at all though. I like how much has been going on since the Phoenix arc!

Even though I love the toy aspect of tokusatsu,they were REALLY blatantly pushing it this ep."Hey we got this new PlaMonster and we also got this box to sell...ummm...I know let's make Golem make the box"

I was kinda questioning why Haruto didn't try using the Drago Timer at all during the fight at the end to deal with the multiple situations.My way of justifying it has to do with the random bit of Haruto giving Koyomi mana.I'm assuming the Drago Timer might use a lot of mana and since Haruto just gave a bit to her,he didn't have enough to use for the Timer.Probably overthinking it,but that's how I'm taking it.

I loved the whole bit with the archaeologist examining the Beast Driver,Magnum and Hyper Ring.Yeah,it was kinda stupid he really had to think about the front of the Driver being a door even though he JUST saw how it worked.But I did get a kick out of him trying to wear the Magnum as a belt.

This was a decent ep,I mainly just want to see Beast Hyper in action.

I assume re: the belt that Chimera, like most other phantoms, is within him now; the belt is how he feeds the Phantom within his body.

Though I wonder how long it'll be before they realize that Haruto could just give him mana, and problem solved!

Not necessarily. There's three problems with that.
The first is that we don't know how much mana a common Phantom contains. We can't just assume the mana Haruto has to spare will be enough to feed Chimera.
The second is that, by constantly leeching off Haruto, Wizard will be much weaker. You have to remember that he has to commonly replenish Koyumi as well.
The third is that I don't think Nitou would want another man's hand so close to his crotch on a daily basis :p

Regarding if Haruto can give Nitou the mana he needs to sustain Chimera, I like to think Phantom mana is special.

I think Chimera might have something ageist phantoms, because he was partnered up with an other wizard from ancient times or something

No. Why you ask? Because reasons!

My theory is that Chimera is just super picky about what he eats and he'd rather eat something with a little more substance i.e. a whole Phantom. :lol

The correct answer is he doesn't want to put his hand on Haruto's crotch.

So I watched this episode on Tuesday. I'm only chiming in so late because 1) I had a hell of a week and 2) I was kind of bored. After the excellent Medusa arc we just had it just felt kind of flat this week.

If they'd foreshadowed this guy finding the ring and magnum maybe over the course of a few episodes, seeing a shot of him at the end of each week on his way back to Japan then maybe I would have liked it more. I just felt there wasn't enough build up for this. And it was obvious he was going to steal the belt, I guess Nitou is just kind of dense.

... That moment when you realize that Kamen Rider Beast is secretly the plot of Ryuki.
