Toei's Spiderman
 

So is this worth a watch? I've been tempted by it for a while just for the novelty factor.

I grew up on that, and thought it was the bomb, but then I liked eating lead paint chips too :D

Has this show been subbed properly? Or is the HK sub that's floating around the only thing out there?

Marvel actually released official subs but they were stream only IIRC. Not sure if they're still available though.

I own the DVD box set of the series and still have yet to finish it. I liked what I've seen well enough, but sometimes the eps do seem repetitive. It's all good fun though. Someday I'll finish the series. Just need to set aside the time for it.

I remember watching the first couple episodes of this series a few years back.
It was awesome.
The only thing stopping me from completing it was some odd reason.

I saw the whole thing. It's was pretty good actually. I kind of like Amazoness as a Villianess, she was sexy, but evil.

It's a lot of fun.

I love this series. It's so much better than the American series starring Nicholas Hammond.

That trailer is 'freakin perfection.

I haven't seen a lot of the series, but what I have seen is quite good, except for what could charitably be described as his "henshin". Seriously, a Spider-Man suit shoots out and hits his face, and then he puts it on.

My sister is a bit of a Power Rangers fan and her husband is a Spiderman fan. The other night I told them about how Spider-Man is the reason why Power Rangers/Sentai has giant robots. I wish I had that trailer above at the time just for their reactions.

So are there any form of subs out there for this show? I'm pondering buying the Chogokin Leopoldon and I'd really like to watch the series if I can.

I saw a picture online of Toei Spidey hanging out with Kamen Rider V3. Did this actually happen? or was it a promo shot of some kind?

Actually it was just Spidey & V3...But this is way cooler. I have zero desire to watch Kamen Rider Stronger but am constantly charmed by the sheer goofiness of his suit. Him hanging out with Spider-man just made me day. Thanks

Alright, I'm stumped. Which Ultra is that in the back of that group shot? Doesn't look like any of the Showa Ultras that I can identify.
