I agree that Ranger Keys are unneeded in Super Megaforce and that cards would've been better, but I am also of the opinion that if they had to include the Gokaigers, then they should have had a cast switch-over OR have them as a separate team. I am sorry, but upgrading into the Gokaiger suits DOES NOT WORK. Gokaigers are VERY clearly a themed sentai: there costumes are unmistakably based on cliche pirate uniforms and their helmets are designed to look like pirate hats. They have freaking skulls and cross-bones on them! Then you have the fact that their weapons are pistols and sabres, it's just too much pirate to be a logical upgrade from another form.
Then you have the fighting styles. The Gokaiger are very personality-specific in their fights and are all very unique and if they are using Gokaiger footage the glaring differences in their fighting styles will be terrible. Why will the nerd suddenly be the calm and collected sword master, why will the strong man now be one of the weakest in the groups that goofs around a lot and fights with surprise attacks? How come the team-ups will now nearly always be Green/Pink and Yellow/Blue rather then Red/Pink and Yellow/Black (Green)? Its just too glaring and too dumb.
Making the Gokaigers be upgrades are a huge mistake because the costumes are so unique. For example, I could swallow Lightspeed Rescue upgrading into Time Force because both outfits are rather generic but Gokaiger is, along with Magiranger and Shinkenger, the most theme-specific outfit we've had and it just doesn't work. It's as glaring as the "Alien Rangers" being very japanese-themed and very obviously ninja with no proper explanation when in costume and it just sucks.

I know there may be some exposition on it, but with how intentionally generic and very basic the story and episodes of Megaforce have been so far, I'm not counting on a good one. I also predict the glaring differences in fighting styles will also be ignored, which will suck.
