Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger Special Anniversary Project Announced
 

Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger turns 10 years old this year. Producer Jun Hikasa together with actor Yujiro Shirakawa(Whom portrayed Isshu Kasumi/Kabuto Raiger) and the rest of the Hurricanger cast recorded a video announcing that on April 1 2013, a special project will be revealed to celebrate this event.

Perhaps we’ll be seeing the launch of Hurricanger in the S.H.Figuarts line? Or the start of a new v cinema film?

Is this Sentai worth giving a shot? Ninja Storm kinda fucked any chance this sentai had of me going and watching it.

hurricanger was one of the sentai's you need to watch cause of the stuff that they did in the entire series.I hope its a new film or announcing something cool like a mini series it was always nice to see the cast reunite just like how they did with the main cast for dekaranger

Ninja Storm was no where near as bad as people back it out to be (come on people Operation Overdrive was a thing!) but Hurricanger is infinitely better!

Meh, Operation Overdrive sucked at trying to do something interesting while Ninja Storm just outright sucked. But are awful but I'd take OO over it any day.

Back on topic, this sounds like it could be interesting. I don't think it'll be much, but a one-off special might be cool.

I liked Ninja Storm when I was young too, I must've been like 8 when it aired. Looking back, though... Damn, :lol

Anyway, I love the costumes, so figuarts would be cool.

I hope this means we get some kind of Dekaranger event next year. Considering how it's still one of the most popular Sentais ever I wouldn't be too surprised.

Yes to the umpteenth degree. It's the Sentai I recommend to anybody no matter if they're already a fan of Sentai, or a new one. It's so good, scratch that, it's great. Don't elt Ninja Storm scare you off, Hurricanger is 100 times better.

Are they going to apologize for Ninja Storm? I know they had nothing to do with it, but someone needs to apologize for Ninja Storm.

They should make a cartoon of it. The Ninja Storm characters came, say 'We'reeee backkkkkk," and then the Hurricangers come in, clean house and apologize for the mess that was Ninja Storm.

Wait, Abaranger aired in 2003. This year marks that Sentai's 10th anniversary, not Hurricanger's. Their 10th anniversary was last year. Wouldn't this year be Hurricanger's 11th anniversary? I know Power Rangers Ninja Storm aired ten years ago.

It began airing in February 2003. This video was shot at a celebratory party that the cast of Hurricanger had in February to celeberate the 10 year anniversary of Hurricangers' last episode. It's the anniversary of that series in the respect that it ended 10 years ago.

Oh, so it's basically just celebrating the completion of Hurricanger. Gotcha.

I would love some Hurricanger Figuarts. Also, if they're doing something special for the 10th anniversary of Hurricanger (of all seasons) I expect they're going to have a gigantic fiesta when it's Shinkenger's turn.

Looks like I'm the only one who thought Ninja Storm was one of the better Disney seasons and that Hurricanger didn't tickle my fancy (though I did like the older version of them much better in Gokaiger).

Isshu was portrayed by Kyo Nobuo(who unfortunately had a musical going on during the filming of this footage and could not make it according to Shioya Shun a.k.a. Shiina Yosuke/Hurricanered)
