That certainly was something.

I was fine with Robo Knight being the spawn of Robocop.

But to make him the love child of Captain Planet and Robocop? Now he's just annoying.

Just caught the last couple minutes, will have to watch the full episode later. But I do want to say that I am deeply, deeply disappointed in Robo Knight's voice. :(

Really good episode as far as I'm concerned. Robo Knight was interesting, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him. I was going to pass on all of the roll-play gear, but I might get his morpher and weapon...maybe even the mask...

Robo Knight seems pretty cool to me. The environmentalism is definitely getting annoying, but that's becoming a theme of the whole show, unfortunately.

I don't see anything wrong with environmentalism in general. It's definitely good for childrens programs like this since it gets the message to them when their young. But Goseiger definitely did the subtle protect the earth message better.

So not only is he RoboCop, he's also Captain Planet. But that isn't what sent me off into a frothing rage that only staring at Mikiho Niwa in that bikini could help bring me out of. Saban, you rat b... Did you think I wouldn't notice? Did you think you could sneak it through and no one would say a word? You changed his damn name but you kept the card that says GOSEI KNIGHT?!

Considering the reasons why Megaranger and Gingaman were space themed when adapted, despite the Sentai not being space themed, this makes sense.
But hey, at least this wasn't Merrick's character, Wild Force was already Anvilicious with its "Save the Environment" spiel.

Oh and even GoseiKnight in his badassitude had the "all your powers combined" thing with the whole "Knightic Power" thing. Saban, I expected this from you.

Wonder? Do what I'm doing. Watch Goseiger and ignore Megaforce exists. Congrats Saban, you made me look forward to Gokaiger.

I'm not saying anything against the card thing. I'm saying something about Saban keeping every single element but changing the one that matters. Including his name, on the card.

I think we're looking at this show through the wrong kind of filter. I'm looking at it has an American Adaptaion of Tensou Sentai Goseiger. When it's really a show, meant for kids, and has to appeal to that demographic. Yes. This season has alot for older fans, but it isn't really meant for us. I have Goseiger. And it'll always bother me how they ruined Gosei Knight. I just wish I knew why they changed the name, made him a robot, made him talk in Zord mode.. yet didn't change his card saying his Japanese name.

Somehow I was expecting more from Robo-Knight. The previously Mentioned "love child of Capt. Planet and RoboCop" description is right on the way I see it! I guess we won't have to worry about who he really is will we? The walking SFX were really annoying after 10 seconds or so..... I think I found something more irritating than Tensou!

Speaking of. Are we ever going to see Tensou and Gosei again?

Now on to the "what happens to RoboKnight next season" theories.

Yes. I don't judge Lightspeed Rescue based on GoGo-V, NO ONE judges MMPR's first season based on Zyuranger. Just look at this like you did before you ever knew that Super Sentai existed.

And to answer your qualm on RoboKnight's card, Saban, like all companies, wants money and being cheap gets you more of it.
But yeah, that is annoying.

Given how Mack went Pinocchio on us at the end of Operation Overdrive, I wouldn't be surprised if Saban did this to Robo Knight.

It's not that I have a problem with environmentalism, it's just becoming one of those things that they really harp on. We already have Emma, whose only personality trait so far seems to be that she just loves the environment. Usually enough is enough with Emma's first few lines. It just gets annoying when a whole episode or the whole show begins to focus on it.

I agree. In Goseiger, like Den said early, it was much more subtle. There but not jammed down your throat. Saban.. he doesn't do subtle.

At the same time it's no different than MMPR. Trini and Kim often worked fundraisers and cleaned parks, had fights in dirty factories that disgusted them because of how pollutant they were, there was quite a bit of environmentalism in the original series. This idea of the rangers caring about things like that, and strongly, isn't new. With it being the 20th anniversary I think they're trying to get back to some of the roots of MMPR.

Facepalm is all I have to say.

really funny how the card thing is suddenly such a problem for some people. the reason they changed his name is because the mentors name is gosei. call hom goseiknight and suddenly you open the can of worms as to him/it being the mentor in fighting foem which he obviously would not be

Oh, I have absolutely no problem with the environmentalist messages in this episode or even if they continue. That seems like a great idea.

What rubbed me the wrong way was it feeling like Robo Knight ended every single line with "and its environment!" It just got somewhat annoying fast.

I like the episode robo knight voice started to grow on me an revealing a plot is good as we can tell how they going to take the ever last gossip knight finally accepts them story arc in to hey let's help get robo knight his memory back

I left the episode partway through to go eat a burger. Best decision ever, hearing the RoboKnight voice was painful. Even if he was supposed to be a robot, when voice acting, there needs to be some emotion in the voice. Even his voice actor sounded like he didn't like what they turned GoseiKnight into.

I think Robo-Knight needs to call up the Magna Defender for some epicness tips :P ...I kid, I thought by watching more into the Show he would be a bit better instead of yesterday clip, The environment needs to go when he shouts role call though. "I AM ROBOT KNIGHT...PROTECTOR OF THE ENVIRONMENT...AND THE GUARDIAN OF THE EARTH."..Guardian of the earth does the job enough.

Was there a civilian fight in this episode?

Because they kept talking about all the civilian fights this year. And we've had ... one. In the premiere.

huh, I just got that reference, crap, now they managed to fuu up a Wild Force reference while ruining Gosei Knight :lol

Funny thing is, when I went to the mall earlier to hang out with my chums, I met a guy who who is a fan of Sentai. We both asked each other what we though of the episode. Both of us replied to the question with "Yeahhhhh, it sucked..."
