Wow, how about that fight between Torin and High Priest Chaos? It's always pretty exciting when the mentor joins the battle, don't you think?

Seeing Torin and Chaos fight each other was probably my favorite part of the episode.I'm highly interested in what they said to each other.:D The farting dino ability was also hilarious :lol

Fun episode, but it was full of holes. How did Ian get the flowers on the others? Why was Gabutyra busy exactly? He didn't exactly provide back up for Torin... Dogold sucks too, really don't like him...

Either way, I enjoyed it. Fight between Chaos and Torin was pretty cool and Ovirappoo is just so childishly awesome =p

I really enjoyed this episode, except for the farting. :P

I liked the myth-building aspects to the story, with Torin fighting Chaos and the aftermath. I was worried the main story, with the doubles, would end up with the "which one do I shoot?!" cliche but the solution was terrific and made me like King a lot more than I previously did. Black too.

I want to see the subs so I can find out what Ian said about Amy's butt. Torin's fight with Chaos was also pretty cool. Pteragodon Isn't going to be evil for long is he? I would like it to be until episode 15 atleast before he joins the Kyoryuger.

Except Doctor Who actually made it part of the plot (not a very good one, but a plot nevertheless). Kyoryuger just randomly decided it was fart joke time.

This episode was kind of lame.

Curse Over-time's April Fool's prank, I waited one more day than necessary to watch this sub!

The lameness will undoubtedly permeate the series, and I LOVE IT!

Ok, in all seriousness, I'm not a fan of fart jokes so I was kind of meh about that. It didn't offend me, so that's a start I suppose.

Some nice world building stuff. I like that Pteragodon and possibly KyoryuGold in Dogold is being developed this early in the series. I can't remember the last time (probably Abaranger) when the everything related to the Sixth Ranger didn't just debut on the same day as the Ranger's introduction.

We need to see Torin in more battles in the future. It kind of reminded me of Yoda vs Sidious in Star Wars.

Again, I was just really, really entertained by this episode. It's another "Excellent" for me, and it's definitely on-track to becoming my favorite Super Sentai.

WHOA. Full credit to the writers- the whole DoGold thing at the end was obviously well thought out in retrospect, but came as a complete surprise.

Exactly. I knew from some magazine scan that had popped up that he was KyoryuGold (just trapped in a suit of armor). But the way it was written was fantastic, if people haven't given credit to Riku Sanjou for his work on this show then they need to.

This episode nailed the pace down, and struck a great balance between the primary plot of the series and the short subplot of the episode itself. Torin Vs Chaos felt like a missed opportunity for more awesome though. But still a good episode none the less.

KyoryuGold is going to be downright epic!

Has anyone explained what on eartg Gabutyra was doing throughout the episode? Why was he occupied?

Am I the only one who thinks the exploding volcano that Pteragodon emerged from is strikingly similar to the one that Guardian Beast Pteranodon pops out of in Zyuranger?

I never noticed that (but, then again, I haven't watched Zyuranger or Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers).

Also, did anyone notice Daigo's name?

Kiryuu Daigo.

Now, I might be totally insane, but if the WizarDriver is not a liar, then the Japanese word for "fire" is ki, and ryuu translates out to dragon. "Fire dragon."

BUT WAIT.

If we look at the Japanese words for their numbers, we'll find that go is five- the same as the number of Kyoryugers. So where does that leave "dai"?

In Japanese, dai means "great."

So, if I am not mistaken, "Kiryuu Daigo" translates out to "Fire Dragon of the Great Five," given Japanese grammar rules.

Either that or I'm crazy.

I think ki also can mean yellow among other things. Go can mean other things too. Though that is interesting none the less.

Fire is "hi" not ki, sorry for just ruining your theory :lol

There are numerous Japanese words for "fire." Kayoubi, the Japanese name for Tuesday, means (sans "youbi") "fire." Perhaps you are right, but I remember that at some point I learned that ki meant fire. Oh, well- I can always say that ki means "the yellow of a flame."

Well, Ki is usually associated with being short for "kiiro", meaning yellow, or has these definitions:

It can mean "Tree" 木
It can mean "Spirit" or "mood" or "Disposition" 気
It can mean "yellow(color)" 黄
"Desk" 几
"Danger" 危
"Device/Instrument" 器
And much more.

Episode was alright. The farting was juvenile, though.

I did enjoy the Torin vs. Chaos thing. Setting up for something larger that wasn't immediately resolved. So yay.

Another above average episode. The farting doesn't bother me..I just think it's pretty funny. I also don't think Ian was checking out Amy's thighs if you know what I mean. The fight between the mentors is the highlight of the episode. Can't wait for KyoryuGold to appear.

The farting part had my kids cracking up, further solidify that this season is geared more towards kids, and the end theme where Amy is singing about farting, we just lost it.

She did what now? I missed that part :lol Now I have to watch it again. (Like I needed an excuse to watch more Kyoryuger)

Never a bad thing to have a series geared more to children. It's generally my preference for Toku. Now to see if that translates to ratings.

I wonder if Dogold is Kyoryu Gold he was given the Battery at the end.

Seing Torin Fight was awesome he is so strong.

Torin vs Chaos was a missed opportunity. The main plot was great and all but I was craving to see more of that fight throughout. Not to mention the Kyoryu Gold foreshadowing stuff is excellent.

Ugh…that fart joke though. Yes it’s a kids show and fart jokes are funny, but it felt completely out of place in this episode. Had the episode been about smells or something than maybe it could have worked, but it just felt shoehorned in here.

I'm disappointed they didn't find a way for them to run AND Samba during that first henshin sequence.

So we have a ring that farts and now a dinosaur that farts. What is with Toei and the fart jokes in Toku this year?

BTW, did I miss part of the episode? My file just starts with the song instead of the prelude.

Oh, and how much do you want to bet one of the villains is Daigo's dad?

Anyway, that'd be a nice little twist. I was hoping he'd be Chaos, but what with Chaos and Torin being old enemies, that's not happening.

It's not a fart ring, it's a smell ring. They're different, but not in the fact that they're both gross. :p

They're just letting it rip this year, eh? ;)
