Worst Power Ranger moments
 

Someone suggested this on the 'What are you watching' thread and I took it upon myself to make it. it's self-explanatory, but can you try not to start huge flame wars. For example, posting a well loved moment without explanation is going to go badly. So, on we go!

Oh boy, here we go.

It's not a bad Power Rangers moment, but it is a terrible decision.
The use of generic stock music during the transformation scene in Forever Red.

But I will say as I mentioned earlier, SAMURAI, that is all I am going to say, it speaks for itself :lol

Turbo's Passing the Torch. I understand why it happened, but they just could have had a better explaination for four seasoned rangers being swapped for four newbies.

^This is up there. It was just sudden, no real rhyme or reason, they just... kind of left. Another one I'd vote for is Forever Red. Come on. Okay, ignoring the fact the bad guys were Big Bad Beetleborgs. Cole beat censored Serpentara with his very censored bike and a sword?! Are you serious right now?!

Every time Dax opened his mouth in Operation Overdrive.

I'll say pretty much all of Season two after the power transfer..... and the start of Lightspeed. "You've spent how many billions on this Ranger tech and you didn't invest in a padlock for that chest?!"

I'd say what we got in that episode far outweighed what we didn't

A otherwise epic fight scene ruined by the overuse of 'WHOA!" and "YEAH!" and "GET HIM!"

Good point, know what they should've done? had Dragonzord defeat Serpentera, then have it fight defeat QRex just to shut up Eric :lol

2. The Samurai saga (save for almost every moment after Lauren spoke her first few lines).

1. The inception, conception, and life of Norg. He has no saving grace. Though killing him entails the destruction ofhis species, that is not enough to save him from my wrath.

Any scene where that annoying kid from Turbo had to speak. Add that in there.

Does Operation Overdrive count as a moment?

I think for me, the worst moment(s) during Lightspeed Rescue was anytime Vypra laughed. My goodness. That terrible, terribly fake laugh. It's like the actress didn't know how to laugh or something. Or act. A kick-butt scene would just be completely ruined by "Ha. Ha. Ha."

Sidenote: Vypra later went on to create a moderately successful line of special effects make ups.

1.Anything in Mystic Force with that Troll/Goblin thing....

3. Anytime they form the Megazord and the MOTW just kinda stands there....

Now to be fair, the only reason to watch Operation Overdrive is for Once a Ranger:lol

Oh come on! It wasn't that bad, it had... But there was that... Well if they had teamed up with Wild Force... ya know what there is no defending it :lol

Exactly. The only thing defend-able is the Samurai arch for Cam. But that is the only thing you can argue about Ninja Storm. Other then that, it's just utter shite.

Excluding Mao, Finn and Guin (depending on my mood, since Guinevere is a name) ALL the names for the masters from Jungle Fury and the complete disregard for the clever "there is training in X" theme.

The fact the Mystic Force team aren't siblings or at least all related. Okay, let me explain. Chip looks more like Udonna's son than Nick does, and Maddie & Vida could easily be Xander's sisters. Yes Disney, keep the Koragg is Udonna's brainwashed husband and Nick's Darth Daddy to mesh elements from Magiranger, BUT! If the cast look like they could have blood ties to each other in some way, WHY NOT TRANSLATE THAT OVER?!

Operation Let's Ruin Boukeng-I mean Overdrive.

Power Rangers Samurai and the whole "How far back do you need to go on these cardboard cut-outs' family trees until you reach someone who is Japanese?" thing. Mia is exempt because "Watanabe" is a Japanese name and Antonio gets a pass because Genta wasn't part of a samurai bloodline like the other Shinkengers, but then you have the others. Especially the only OTHER cardboard cut-out to get a name, Jayden Shiba. He, his sister and their father are not Japanese. And considering naming conventions, Jayden's dad would to have to been adopted by a Japanese couple and he would have had to take their surname. Mike, Kevin and Emily have no given last names so that doesn't bother me as much, but then it makes me wonder how far back you need to go to find a Chiaki, Ryunosuke or Kotoha.

New Zealand banning PR and then letting Disney film there. That doesn't make sense.

And Tensou, Gosei's MOBILE assistant, not. Having. ARMS.

I shall defend Ninja Storm. It is the season from which I entered Power Rangers, and it ensured that the franchise would continue on and give us the gem of RPM. It had its problems, but I can forgive them. Furthermore, as I have said before, it was my first season. If I had never heard of it, I would probably have never joined this site. If I had never joined this site... well, I'll spare you the uncouth miseries that would have ensued without my genius on this site :p.

Fixed. Also, I like to think that Mia is Cam's cousin. Or niece. She's probably his cousin.

Speaking of which, whatever happened to Cam's actor?

Considering the differences between MMPR and Zyu, probably not :p

The evil ranger suits from season 2 of MMPR. Really Saban? Really? Why the bloody hell could you have used the Dairanger suits? Or at least make something a bit more creative.
