Go-Busters Mission 7 discussion "Ace Needs Repairing?"
Uh oh, are things falling apart for Go-Buster King already? What happens with Go-Buster Ace? Discuss!
|
It's another strong episode, and it's great that we are getting a Megazord along with two other mechs for the battle scene without creating additional Metaloids. I think the mech battle scene, even after 7 eps, consistently ranks up there by its realism and the fact that Go-busters have to deal with them (Metaloid & Megazord) separately and therefore amps up the tension every time. It's also nice to see both GT-02 and GH-03 getting some action while Ace is being repaired, although I wish GH-03 would use its animal mode more often.
About the only real complain I have is the subplot involving that new mechanic, but it's nothing major. Btw, I think this could be the first episode where we get to see all three Busters showing off their special abilities (Red with super speed, Blue with super strength, and Yellow with super jumping). |
Another awesome episode, i really hope it stays this good throughout. The trainroid's design was awesome, I liked how they kept it running around. Go-buster-oh was more badass this week and RH-03 continues to kick ass from the sky.

Another great episode. I just wish GobusterKing wasn't so boring. It can barely move and the main weapon is a sword. It's hard to suspend my disbelief on that when they try to be so detailed and practical on everything else. Instead of putting so much effort into holding the monster still so they can use the blasted sword, they could've easily made King a heavyarms and just shoot the monster. It's more practical.
It's still great to see the zords used alone. I hope that pattern sticks even if it means Roger Rabbit will never transform into beast again. |
It was a great episode, but I have to echo the sentiments of Go-BusterOh being boring. The finisher is really cool, but other than design the mecha does very little for me. At least the show has lots of uncombined fights to keep me interested :D
Loved the plot with the mechanic, not because of the characters themselves but because it helps paint the picture that Go-Busters is a much bigger world than what we get with usual Sentai. And I like that a lot. |

While I think Enter is one of the more progressive villains as of late, his French is bugging me again :(

Solid episode this week. I really like the RailRoid, probably because it reminded me of the BanKiJu's from Go-Onger.

I thought this was a very good episode. It showed a little bit of everything. Instead of focusing on one subject. The story revolving around the maintenance guy was cool.
I thought the clips of Super Hero Taisen in the ending were far more interesting though. |
OK, I'm calling it, the mechanic is going to be Stag Buster, I'm only a minute into the episode & I can smell this 4th ranger from a mile away.

Pretty good episode, but to be honest, something needs to start happening. Enter needs to do something drastic because the show is really repeating the same formula every time. Gobusters sit in base and wait, Enter attacks, Gobusters leave base, fight monster, Megazord is ordered, monster is destroyed, Buster machines come out, Megazord defeated, rangers learned a lesson.
Sure, Sentai is usually formulaic, but the rangers are usually at least doing something outside and not just sitting around waiting for Enter to appear. Why don't they do some spying or something? |
I watched just enough to know I love when he presses his Henshin device before the final attack, and it says "Go Go-Buster!" Saban: Please keep this in the american release?
