Kyoryuger Rumors: Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin, Spinodaioh, Carnival?
 

It's that time once again! New toy catalogues for Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger will be out later this month, and with the reveals in them looming we have a few advance rumors of what we'll see.

- #9 Pleson will be a violet & white plesiosaur partnered with Kyoryu Violet and will have 3 modes. Plesiosaur, boat/sub, and a robot mode named PlesOh. When Pleson combines with Gabutyra and Bunpachy Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin is formed!

- The rumored Kyoryuger summer film will feature a brand new Zyudenryu, #0 Tobaspino, a blue & yellow spinosaur. Tobaspino can combine with Bunpachy and Ankydon to form SpinoDaioh! It's rumored that Tobaspino will be a repaint/remold of Gabutyra!

- Last but not least Kyoryu Red will be receiving a personal power-up. He will receive a new gun modeled after Gabutyra called the Gabutyra Dokanival. (Dokanival being a play on the word for boom and carnival). When the Dokanival is combined with the Gaburevolver he becomes Kyoryu Red Carnival!

As always remember to take rumors with a grain of salt. In this case several. But none the less, true or not, these are some exciting rumors indeed!

Please don't let the Spinosaurus be the movie exclusive form...Man, I love that dinosaur.

Well it looks like that rumor is going to turn out true my friend. But if the last 7 years worth of movie exclusives are any indicator, it will appear in the show again. Just like it's predecessors Daitanken, GekiRinTouja, Engine Daishogun, Kyoryu Origmai, Gosei Wonder, Goran Goakaioh, and FS0O Frog :D

Yeah, but in my experience it'll get an unexplained and inglorious cameo.

Oh well. I think my biggest problem is that it'll be a Gabutyra retool, not it's own unique body.

Gah, this toyline is having too many good mecha. It's going to be terrifyingly hard to restrict myself to just one or two.

Well, like several of it's predecessors that's not unusual for it to just be a remold. So there's nothing really out of the ordinary about that. Daishogun, Wonder, and Frog are all just remold/repaints of previously released toys. In fact so were Gao Kong, Gao God, and Saint Kaiser going even further back. And Spinosaurs are massive so remolding it from Gabutyra makes a lot of sense really.
I know man. I'm not restricting myself at all. I said from the first moment the costumes for the Kyoryugers got leaked that I'd go all in if this line was good. And it's turned out to be fantastic. I"M ALL IN.

I know it's the norm. I just wish they could've picked another dinosaur to remold Gabutyra into and give Spinosaurus a role in the show, is all.
However, if the Spinosaurus remold does look good, then I just might be picking it up (Since the spine might actually fix my issue with the huge ass gap in Gabutyra's back).

The more I see and read about this series, the more interested I become. I would like to wait for the Power Rangers take on it to get into it, but...that probably won't happen till 2017...:(

I personally disagree. I think BoA does a great job with the PR toys they do. That said, the majority of the toys they make for the PR lines are one's that, in at least recent years, they've gotten pretty good at (mostly action figures). Though I'm wondering what they'll do when it comes to the Retrofire-styled figures when this eventually comes over here. That is, assuming they still bother with them by then. Swap-able arms maybe?

Attempting to picture the Spinosaurus zord in my head, that could turn out pretty cool looking. Really depends on how extensive the retooling is.

Out of curiosity, how in the world is Kyoryuger pronounced?

I can only imagine if BoA makes all those zords a part of the Builder series...

Don't let a possible Power Rangers adaptation stop you! Super Sentai and Power Rangers are very different aside from the shared costumes and mecha. From personal experience, you can enjoy both Super Sentai and its Power Rangers counterpart. I enjoyed both Go-onger and RPM, for example.

If you haven't already, I encourage you to dive into Super Sentai. It's a whole new adventure. In fact, it's so different from Power Rangers that you will feel a bit weird initially, but give it time and it really grows on you.

IF this is true then is looks like my initial theory that we would get three different main mechs (a la Go-Onger) is coming true.

Kyoryuzin => Red, Blue, Pink
PteraidenOh Western => Gold, Black, Green
PlesOh Smasher (made up name) => Violet, Brown, Cyan

It's great that we will be able to combine all the different Zyudenryus. Now all we need to Brachios.

I'll probably give the show itself a watch. Don't imagine I'll get attached to it, necessarily, but I'll give it a try. Toy-wise I haven't seen anything in the BoJ line that is a must-have for me, and with how much the stuff cots, it's going to have to be a must-have for me to pay that much. That and the stuff BoA will do will better fit my collection...well...it should anyways, but we'll just have to wait and see.

That is why i never really cared for Abaranger mecha, i mean sure AbareOh and the White Rangers mecha combined, and all the Auxilary zords combined with the battelizer megazord, but i really wished they all couldve combined :lol

(cant remember the PR: Dino Thunder and Sentai mecha names :lol)

Oh wow, I'm really hoping that this ends up with several full megazords and no left over mecha. The rate these are coming out they must be spreading them across quite a while, we've burned through 6 mecha in 2 months

It all sounds good to me, less good to my wallet, but it'll recover... eventually...

That's what I am hoping as well. One the things I liked most about Boukenger was that all the AUX Mechs could then combine into it's own robot. Same with Go-Onger. I really hope this follows suit and I wish all future Sentai would as well.

Come on Kyoryu White for the tie breaker between Kyoryuger and Dekaranger (assuming that Kyoryuger will have a ranger per mech)

Yep. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, Break, Bright, Master, Swan, and Gold.
(The "Deka" is pretty accurate :p)

Deka Gold, from the Dekaranger movie. Literally appeared for less than a second, but she does exist. Never used in SPD, never used in Gokaiger.

Honestly, I'm waiting on seeing what the Spinosaurus looks like. If it improves the aesthetic issues I had on Gabutyra, I might buy that, and then trickle down for everyone else if they do make some dino clusterfuck (In which case, fingers crossed that the Spinosaurus includes a Dricera and Stegotchi).

Sorry but me thinks Spino will be a stand alone release. It's combo is with Bunpachy and Ankydon anyway. You won't need Stegotchi and Dricera.

You know, I would find it awesome if KyoryuRed Carnival turned enemies into fossils. Why?

Carnivale, or Carnival.

In one process of fossilization, years of compression by sediment layers leads to a dead organism buried in those layers to have its organic material (usually its bones) replaced by minerals. However, before this process of mineral replacement, the organism decomposes to a skeleton. In other words, it loses its meat.

So, again class- why would I find it awesome if KyoryuRed Carnival fossilized enemies? Because "carnival" means "farewell to meat."

But if there is some kind of glorious dino ultra combo, I'd need Stegotchi and Dricera to complete it, since I have the intention on using Spino as a replacement over Gabutyra.
