What if Michael Bay directed a teen to young adult audience aimed Power Rangers movie
 

You pick the season or seasons it could be based on.

It would probably be SPD. First of all, it's one of the closest series to a full military set-up (and far more prone to using guns than Lightspeed Rescue). Second, he could throw them up against evil giant aliens without having to stretch the show's concept. Third, he could use Z's multiplication powers to have her give herself bikini sponge baths.

SPD is one of my favs and the one I was thinking of too. I also thought he could do RPM.

What I want to see in a Michael Bay Power Rangers movie is the morphing sequence. With millions of dollars and access to amazing CGI studios like ILM, they could be the most amazing thing we can see on the big screen.

nothing would get accomplished....the monsters would blow up as soon as they were created...we'd never get a fight scene.

I bet they'd get Linkin Park to do the Power Rangers Theme rock remix :D

Well, in my honest opinion I don't think he will do one at all, because what happened was he wasn't going to do Transformers because it was aimed for kids. I mean if he was going to do it he would need to alter a lot and I mean A LOT of things like the morph, megazords, the suits, and monsters. Oh and of course he needs to have EXPLOSIONS! No I'm just kidding, but he belongs to Paramount and Power Rangers belongs to Saban so I don't think it will work in my opinion.

Considering the fact that Bay is changing TMNT's origin from mutated turtles to aliens from outer space, if he gets a hold of PR he might change their origin to five teens getting stoned and fantasized themselves as spandex-wearing crime fighters, and the local bullies became monsters in their own purple haze. :o

Sadly I can't think of anything because this concept just seems way to far fetched to me. I mean, this is the kind of movie Michael Bay would make if he was drunk, stoned & then was taken back & forth between alternate dimensions, completely flipping his personality upside down.

I'm sure it would be better than most of MMPR at least.

I think the SPD idea was great! I loved the world of both SPD and RPM dearly and was very sad after they had ended. i think its a worth while idea. As for the stament about the disney rights. Disney owns nothing now. Saban/Nick Bought the rights to the shows but disney might still have afoothold in thier somwhere.

Actually, Saban now has the rights for every Power Rangers series after they brought out the PR rights from Disney.

As long as it was more along the lines of "MMPR: The Movie" and not "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie", I'd probably be interested.

Wouldn't matter what series he chose,it would be the mother of all morphing sequence background explosions.lol.Also you wouldn't be able to tell what series it was anyways,soon as they morph the camera would start shaking so much all you'd see is the rangers colors,followed by a navy captain talking to the rangers from an aircraft carrier with planes taking off.Why,cause he can.lol
