Mighty Morphin' took the first round, while Dino Thunder fought hard and won against an excellent Zeo theme. And now we come to round 3! Let's take a look at the challengers!

Who will win this battle of Getaway Drivers and Space Police?!

SPD wins this. It works amazingly during any Megazord battle, it gets you pumped for the series, it does everything a good theme song should do. While Turbo, coming off an excellent theme like Zeo, is just milktoast.

Man. This one is hard too....I wasn't even able to pick one for round 2. We'll see about this one.

You're free to hate on Turbo as much as you want.
But the Turbo theme is godlike. So much better than Zeo's MMPR theme dickriding.

SPD is a really, really good song. I certainly love it. But Shift into Turbo just sounds so much better. It's too good for the show it's attached to.

Turbo is a really good one, but SPD takes this matchup I think.

S.P.D all the way! Not only is it the season that got me watching PR again but it's a great theme for a great show.

And Sentai, you aren't seriously going to pit In Space against Mystic Force and Lost Galaxy against OO? The Disney shows don't even stand a chance...

I'd have to go with Turbo.
It's just a bit better than SPD, and I'm indifferent to SPD.

In fairness, the only themes either of those would stand a chance against is each other. :p

But yeah, I went with Turbo. It's a good and sadly underrated theme. SPD's is just bland.

I really am the only person who likes the OO theme, aren't I? That sitar in there kicks it and kicks it hard.

OO is fine...when you bind, gag and stuff the singer into a broom closet before he can open his pie hole and take a power drill to your ears with his voice.

Also, could we get mini-duels between Mystic Force's themes and RPM's themes, with the victors facing off against the corresponding Saban Era theme?

When this tourament is all said and done, it might be fun to do a 'worst of the worst' round.

Histrionics and hyperbole aside, I still don't see what's wrong with the vocals in that song. It's catchy and upbeat, which is the most I usually ask for from a Power Rangers theme song.

The vocal effects are quite nice as well.

The other two you menion, Mystic Force and RPM, are really poor, especially fro a vocal standpoint. The rapping in the MF opening never really comes together. The RPM one especially is just so blatantly generic that it is extremely forgettable.

The Mystic Force Rock Theme could put up a decent fight with the in Space Theme, it might still lose, but at least it didn't bring a feather duster to a knife fight, so to speak.

And all five RPM themes should have a Battle Royale before facing Time Force.

This is true. You could put a gun to my head and I still legitimately cannot remember how the RPM theme goes.

No they are not.
I just wanted to see if RPM and Mystic Force could get a fighting chance considering that, while I like the RPM theme to an extent, Time Force trumps it and Mystic Force is IMO a very weak theme that just makes me think of the old ABC Kids block.

The overall decision to pit the demos and officials of the Mystic Force and RPM themes against each other in Battle Royales rides on Sentai giving his approval.
He did start this after all.

If Mystic Force, OO, and RPM are included, they would be up against In Space, Lost Galaxy, and Time Force respectively. Those Disney series should use the demo themes, not the real theme. Otherwise, there's no point in even making those matchs. If you thought MMPR vs Ninja Storm was a blood bath, just wait until those rounds.

If an entire series dvd came out of Mystic Force using the demo theme instead of the chosen one,I'd buy it in a heartbeat.It would've made the series so much better.I can see why they didn't choose too much of an upbeat song for RPM cause it was the series Disney decided to make "serious".Worst choice ever.
