Cynopsis: Kids!

Someone over at Rangercrew has said this sounds a lot like Smile Precure!

While Pretty Cure is one of those franchises I've always been meaning to try but never got around to it, I thought this might be worth sharing.

Either way, Gangnam Girls is not the first name I'd have thought of.

*FACEDESKS* Please don't do to this what 4kids.tv did to One Piece... Please.... Not that I have much damn hope with a name like Gangnam Girl.

I thought there was a dub group with the rights to dub of pretty cure due uk channel pop girl that has a dub of first season on there still called pretty cure with both cure black and cure white in them

Didn't they already dub one of the series? I'm positive I remember seeing a listing for it at one time.

I believe we shall need to escape this ship while we can my friend.

i wished ocean production kept the dubbing rights to this show due to season 1 just called pretty cure with cure black and cure white they dubbed that season and i enjoyed that dubb of the show so i going be Pissed if saban screw this one

I really hope this is like Saban's Sailor Moon, where the animated action scenes are spliced together with live action story segments. Mostly because I'm a sadist. ;)

In my America you'd be thrown in prison for something like that.

...Please don't let this be Smile Precure. I'd rather that get a proper anime dub from the likes of Viz or Funimation than get handled by Saban.

Should we just call this adaptation of Pretty Cure Card Captors: Generation 2?

Who knows? Maybe it'll be better than 4Kids, but if it's going to be called Gangnam Girls...then ehat the heck Saban? What's wrong with the name Precure?

I can see that Saban, even after years of using Japanese footage, can not distinguish Japanese from Korean. Either that, or he's just heard Gangnam style and thought "hey this is catchy! I'll make this title for my new series that is totally not using Japanese footage like my other stuff!"

Man, you know what this thread and its talk of US magical girl adaptations makes me want to see?

A 4Kids dub of Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

One: Saban is NOT 4Kids! Saban at least tries, look at Digimon!
Two: Am I the only one thinking "Gangnam Girls" sounds like what a Korean dubbing company would title this for localization?

I'm currently watching this series (having blown through the whole franchise in the last month or so). Please be something original and not Smile!

Glitter Force sounds exactly like what Saban would call this.

You mean Gangnam wasn't just a fad? Shock of all shocks.
