Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Red Division Round 3
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Okay, so some people have been wondering where the all-stars are. Well we've got our first one in this match-up. This time we have a veteran warrior from an alien world up against a rookie ninja brimming with potential:

eh, i like andros better but in one one one combat i think shanes ninja training gives him the edge.

Shane is a pretty cool ninja.
It's a shame he's a Naruto chi laser ninja instead of a Kakuranger awesome ninja. He might've stood a chance.

Andros is a telekinetic alien. Boom. Win.

Let's see, this is a tough one. On the one hand, Andros one of the most legendary red rangers in both PR and Super Sentai who saved the entire universe in Countdown to Destruction, one of the best (if not the best) finales in PR history. On the other hand, Shane... defeated Lothor... :thumb:

Who later escaped his imprisonment only to be put in a jar by a creepy dinosaur man while Magic Ninjas fought with Tommy and the Dinosaur Teens.

Shane. Look, it's no secret I hated Ninja Storm. But I liked things from Ninja Storm. Lothor, the Thunder Beetle Zords. And while Shane wasn't spectacular as a Red? He was so much damn better than Andros "Whiney" McSpaceFlight. "Oh, I cant kill you Zordon" "Oh no, my sister was kidnapped!" He spent more time bitching, whining, and moaning about his life through In Space than Jake does staring at Gia's backside.

My vote is for Andros. He was a fairly competent leader and one of the better reds. Remember that, without Andros, the Power Rangers wouldn't have known about the Big Bad Beetleborgs plan to destroy the Earth.

And then Deker wouldn't have destroyed Serpentera with his sword, Uramasa- I mean, Cole and his motorbike :lol

Wait until Leo "I gotta Hulk Up*rips shirt*" Corbett comes along.lol.As far as I'm concerned I'd def say Andros.Look,Shane was ok,but there's a few big differences.1.He was only chosen to be the Red Ranger because he was the only ninja left who was "good enough".2.He was constantly laid back until he got his battlizer and showed some emotion besides skateboarding.3,and the last,he only was in charge of 2 other rangers.Andros was in charge of not only four others,but according to Forever Red he never stopped fighting after In Space.*edit fix for GoseiWonder :P*

Andros fought off Darkonda, saved the universe (even if he did have to kill Zordon! ) and carried on being a ranger for at least 4 years after the end of his series.

One typo...lol.But you get my point,he's better then Shane ever was.

Honestly, for my money Andros is the best Red Ranger of them all. He's talented, he has a good range of weapons and abilities, he's incredibly dedicated to his mission, and he can totally rock a cloak like nobody's business. If I was just making my own team instead of running this tournament, he'd be an easy lock for Red.

But id have voted for Shane since he was my first red ranger as a kid, but Andros is a total badass, not as much compared to Carter :lol but he friggin killed Zordon! that takes cojones :lol

Can't say this is much of a contest. Andros saved the universe. Even from just a combat perspective, Andros has proven to be extremely adaptable and resourceful as a Ranger.

Also, I'm calling this one early. Andros has an 18-point lead and I don't see Shane coming back from that. Andros will be moving on, round four will be up in a bit.

Huh,then why are we making a dream team? Team wont be that great basing on fighting skill alone.Still choosing Andros.

Because ideally the best Rangers will be able to use all of their skills to rise to the top.
