Power Rangers Dino Thunder: Dx Dimetrozord Gallery
 

The Dino Thunder tribute keeps on going with a gallery of the deluxe Dimetrodon Zord!

The Dimetrozord is one of five auxiliary zords used in Dino Thunder that can be summoned by either the Black Ranger or the Triassic Ranger. This zord can replace the Tyranno Drill arm and allows the Thundersaurus Megazord to perform the Dimetro Saw Blade finishing move. The Dimetrozord also forms the inner right leg of the Triceramax Megazord.

The deluxe figure is approximately 8 inches long and has a spinning 'saw blade' gimmick that runs on the motor in the Tyrannozord. The U.S. release of the Dimetrozord was packaged with the Dx Dino Stegazord.

I liked this arm. Buzz saw arm is cool.

Yeah, it just kind of folds in half. Regardless, I still think it's the best auxiliary arm from Abaranger/Dino Thunder. What isn't there to like about a giant saw blade hand?

Now this I love. Definately the best out of the Aux Mecha from Aba/Dino Thunder. And one thing I do appreciate about the DX toy, is that the Spin Gimmick works with all the Aux Mecha. Nice touch.

How so?

I think Den means by that: That this Zord actually transforms. It doensn't just fold up the legs and connect, you have to physically change it to make it an arm.

The things you post are such fascinating non-sequiturs (yet somehow still remain quite sequitur), that they make me want to read books that you write wherein you are the unquestioned ruler of existance and all the bizarre things that go on in your world.

Also, Dimetrodons aren't dinosaurs, but that doesn't matter in this franchise, so why bother.

Neither are Pteranodons.

Do you guys want to see a stand-alone gallery for the Stegazord or is it cool if I just keep it contained within the KillerOh/Dino Stegazord gallery? That surfboard mode is just so lame....

Keep it with KillerOh. No Surfboard x . x Seeing it once in the show was enough.

Since it was sold as a set anyway I think it makes sense to gallery it together. Just show off the combined form with Thundersaurus/Abarenoh.

Sadly, I can't. The helmet for the Valkasaurus Megazord only comes with the Mezodon Megazord and I don't have it. I'll just throw in a quick pic of the surfboard mode. I'm not really worrying about it.

You couldn't make the joke even if he had Styraco. They never released Pachycephalo in America.

I like this a lot. Can't go wrong with giant buzz saws.

Still, it is odd how both have a Styracosaur as the main torso along with a Dimetrodon, Pachycephalosaur, Parasauralophus and Akylosaur as limbs.
Yes I know, Dimetro and Parasaur are housed in the legs and Gimstone's combination has those to be arms while Pachy and Ankylo are arms...

But that's not going to stop me from trying to buy that Gimstone set and customizing it!

If I had an extra Grimstone, I'd probably try to make it into MaxRyuOh too. :D
