New Super Sentai Figuart Images - Ryuranger, Kibaranger and more!
 

The special Super Sentai section of Bandai's Tamashii website has updated with more images of the SH Figuarts being released to coincide with season 2 of Akibaranger. While we have already seen several of these, such as the season 2 Akibarangers, Tyrannoranger and Dragonranger, this section also features new images of Ryuranger and Kibaranger of Gosei Sentai Dairanger (or if you've been following Akibaranger lately, China Sentai Chinaman!)

Though it features just a single image of Kibaranger, the page shows the accessories Ryuranger will come with (including an alternate China Red helmet) and a release date of August. He will be priced 3675 yen.

I haven't watched Dairanger yet,so I have no other attachment to Ryuranger at all other than his appearance in Gokaiger.That said,I MUST HAVE HIM.The fact that he comes with accessories to turn him into ChinaRed is worth the purchase alone.I'm glad Tamashii Nations decided to be cool and not make him a seperate release,but I would have loved to have seen a special Chinaman Figuarts box.

Also Kibaranger.I need him NOW.White Ranger was the Tommy that I grew up with and that figure looks to be gorgeous.I hate the use of "shut up and take my money",but that's what I'm feeling for that figure.WANT

And I can guarantee, I'm gonna go broke :lol

Ryuranger is perfect. What a great set of accessories! I'm really looking forward to him. Kibaranger looks pretty darn fine too, but I'll wait for more pics before i get super-hyped for him.

And Tyrannoranger and Dragonranger still look as absolutely marvellous as they did before. Now I've finished Zyuranger, I have even more appreciation for them. Gonna be posing Dragonranger with Hellfried!

Dat chinared helmet, haha that's awesome. Figures look good, which is a bonus as I'll buy them all anyway =p

Kibaranger is going to be hard to resist for me, especially with Dragonranger already ordered.

I'm not convinced. Other sources seem to be reporting a more likely September release. Nothing seems confirmed yet though.

Either way I can't see this affecting the inevitable Bluefin release.

But meh on Bluefin, no Akibaranger accessory, no buy! After ChinaRed, I'm sure he'll be able to change chest emblems with his Japan release.

As someonone who's never seen Dairanger, could someone to me explain the significance of "China Red"?

He's from Akibaranger. I have yet to see Dairanger also. I have it. I just haven't gotten to it yet. ChinaRed is like the AU unofficial version.

Back in the 90's while Dairanger was in pre-production, it had been rumored to be a show based on chinese martial arts. It was also rumored at the time that the show would be called Chinaman because of its apparent chinese themes. However thats false. Toei confirmed in laster years Net Movies (Super Hero Taisen) that all Chinaman ever was was a made up rumor by fans. However the pre-production Dairanger costumes did feature those eyes on the helmet.

In Akibaranger Hate Saburo has allowed sentai history to be rewritten so that Dairanger never existed and instead Akiba is official. Because of this Dairanger is relegated to being unofficial and becomes Chinaman by default :lol

The fact that it comes with the alternate head means I will most certainly be buying 2! Heres hoping Kiba Ranger comes with his alternate chest emblem too.

Lol. I'll be totally happy with just one to display as ChinaRed. Out of Dairanger, the only figure I REALLY want is of course ShishiRanger. And then I'll get Kibaranger because Kibaranger.

The chest emblem on ChinaRed is different also. I wonder if that's simply a swappable part.

Ryuuranger is looking mighty fine. Nice complement of accessories. And the alternate Chinaman helmet is hilarious.

Interested to see more of Kiba Ranger.

Even if KibaRanger is exclusive, Bluefin should still pick it up for US audiences.

Kibaranger should totally come with the Akibaranger chest coin. It's not like he'll come with much else.

I don't know who these Jokers are (I haven't even started Akibaranger S2 yet) but being connected to Akibaranger, I plan to get them eventually.

Well, there's nothing else he really could come with. Hellfried and the Zyusouken were the only weapons he ever had and he never really interacted with anything else. I suppose he could come with Clotho's candle, but he never held that or anything. I was annoyed at the lack of accessories at first, but after finishing Zyuranger I don't mind it anymore. Tyrannoranger's complete arsenal more then makes up for anything he's lacking.

EDIT: Although, thinking about it more, the Energy blast that he used when he was evil or an Effect Part to replicate Hellfried's signature exploding ground technique would've been appreciated.

Oh I am so getting the Dairangers. I'll probably have to spend a lot for them, but I'll make damn sure they are on my shelf!
