Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Red Division Round 9
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Okay, we're getting close to the end of the first round; there are only five Red Rangers left. Let's start wrapping up this phase by fighting fire with a firefighter.

Will Carter see to it that his opponent needs rescuing at lightspeed? Will Nick tap into his magical source to overwhelm Carter with mystic force? Which Ranger will reign supreme?

Carter, because he's the only red ranger to not give a shit and drive straight into a monster while unmorphed. Also he didn't over shadow his team less than halfway through his series.

Nick, my Boy. He has to absolutely win this. Carter has as much charisma as wet toilet paper. But lt's go through the numbers, shall we?

Carter and Nick Base States are night and day different. Carter is more technological, where Nick is completely Mystical. Nick though has more to call on. He has so many spells to equalize anything Carter can throw. Meaning he'd need to call on more Power. With Carter that's just the Battilizer. Where Nick can call on his Legendary Mode and a Battilizer.

Carter, you're just outgunned.

Carter because he is totally awesome. I remember seeing the History of the Power Rangers with him and that just changed my perspective on him.

Personally I think Carter could shoot Nick before Nick could cast a spell.

Because Nick seems to think taking boxing gloves to a sword fight is a good idea.

Carter could shoot him down easy.

You need to stop thinking "Character X wins because he has more powerups."
It's a flawed way that only takes into account what they can do on paper vs. what they can actually do, which is what Power Rangers has always been about.

Carter would whip out his pistol while unmorphed and gun Nick down. if it got to a morph i think it would be a good fight. technology vs magic. battleizer vs battleizer. a nearly even foght but Carter has the advantage with ranged weaponry and i think could put nick down. i think this would be out closest fight yet. plus carter is a MUCH better leader.

I stand by my decision. I refuse to vote against anything Mystic Force :lol

I liked Mystic Force, I didn't really like Nick lol. Love Carter though

Lightspeed Rescue is a show I've always been really mixed on. It had some awesome Zords, great villains, and one of the best finales in the franchise. That said, I've always thought most of the Rangers themselves were bland and boring.

Carter is one of the exceptions. The dude isn't wildly dynamic as a character, but he is one of the most badass Reds ever - and not just because he's always willing to whip out a gun. Carter has some of the most memorable unmorphed fight sequences in the show and he has a crazy iron will. He's not my choice to win the whole thing, but he's definitely my pick for this round.

I like Nick,and the fact everyone says Carter is willing to whip out a gun at an instance.....against a monster.You think he'd shoot down Nick just cause he's another red? Before he morphed? That doesnt sound like Carter.

But,I do have to give it to Carter.He's just not only a better leader,but much tougher as well.He knows what its like to be under pressure,heck he was a firefighter before he was a ranger.lol.I love Mystic Force,but I'll save my vote for Xander. > : )

Lightspeed Rescue:Technology fighting the Supernatural and winning.
Mystic Force:The Supernatural fighting other Supernatural and winning.

Nick is not equipped for fighting technological forces, giving Carter the edge.

You think he'd even fight another Red altogether?

Dunno.Like I said,Carter is a great leader,but he is also a person who wants to save lives.Why would he try to injure someone?

I still stand by Carter winning though,cause even if he doesn't take the first shot,he will fight back.

Carter is my favorite Red Ranger, bar none. No way that guy from Mystic Force can even touch him.

Sure it's over, but I still want to vote for Carter because he's one of the best red rangers, hands-down.
