New S.H. Figuarts Akibaranger/Deka Red images
 

Bandai Tamashii web has uploaded new thumbnail images of the S.H. Figuarts Akibarangers, along with one of the also forthcoming Deka Red figure.

The three Akibarangers are set for release in June (Akiba Red), July (Blue) and August (Yellow) and will all come with a replacement scarf, alternate hands and the Moe Moe Z-Cune weapon. A bonus version of Akiba Red has also been revealed which will include the three character-specific Tamashii Stage 3 stands. The three will cost 3,360 yen each (inc tax)

Finally Akiba Red was also pictured with the giant Dekaranger D-Wapper from episode 2 of the series, which looks to be included with Deka Red (though this is unconfirmed). Deka Red himself is also slated for release in June (priced at 3,675 yen inc tax).

I still question the June release date for Red, considering the July stuff has been up(also starting to doubt Blue in July as well). But they still look great. I might get them eventually, but they don't grab me as must haves.

Yeah, I'm a bit sceptical about the release dates too. It doesn't matter to me if they come a little later, as it'll be much easier on my wallet.

So wait - these aren't coming with the alternate heads?

I don't care about Deka Red, but currently I want all three Akibarangers.

Still shocked that these three are getting full releases, but the more pictures I see of them, the better they look. Not going to buy them, granted, but they still look good.

I'm game for DekaRed in June. Still kind of pissed that Akibaranger gets females and helmetless heads at retail. That should be the perks of being an offical Sentai.

The fact that DekaRed is 300 yen more expensive then the Akiba Rangers certainly makes me think that he will include the handcuffs.

That was my assumption, but since I can't read Japanese I didn't want to commit just yet :lol

Doesn't look the helmetless heads are going to be at retail, they aren't included with these anyway.

I wanted akiba red anyway, now i might have to start collecting reds if they're going to come with the inordinate powers. Doubt ill get the girls though. =]

A shame. I like the helmetless heads more. Kinda want Akibayellow and the main villain.

(Mind, I'm sure customs will LOVE the latter :P)

Im guessing preorders will go up soon.

They should go live tonight around 1-3 am in the morning (i say that time as central standard time since thats when it happens for me) so get ready, usually when a page goes up on the tamashii website, they go live that night (next day for japan)

They look great, but I'm still unhappy that there's no announcement for Go-busters Figuarts. Why must we wait this long?

The Gokaigers didn't start coming out 'til September last year. It hasn't been that much of a wait.

Yeah, but Akibranger got the news even before their premiere. I understand that it is because they anticipate an older audience for this series and those tend to collect Figuarts, but I'm still a bit miff about it.

Maybe the go-busters will be getting some new gadgets in the form of individual weapons later on in the series, so maybe they're holding back for that?

Or maybe they want to wait until the whole team is in the show so they can just keep churning them out?

But I two wish they were coming out soon, definitely going to get all the busters =]

I was under the impression that the helmet-less heads were just display pieces for the show.

oooooooor, Bandai could be complete, and utter dicks and release them as separate releases:lol

I think the push might be due to the fact that Tamashii Nations is a direct sponsor of the show(I actually did a double check when watching episode 1 the other day). Granted it's all Bandai at the end of the day, but I think the Tamashii Nations sponsorship gets them pushed along faster. I also wonder if they are waitng for Beet and Stag Buster to debut before showing off the Figuarts.

Bandai has been known to not picture everything the toys comes with in the promo photos.

Example: Gokai Green was released with no images of Navi at all. Heck, go check Gokai Green's AmiAmi, HLJ, and Tamashii pages. There's still no offical images of Navi.

I'm not saying they will come with the helmetless heads, just saying to wait until the preorder is up on AmiAmi. They list (in English) everything the figure comes with.

Cool! I'm probably only going to get AkibaRed, because I kinda like his design, but that's a maybe, but I really like the Dekarangers, and S.P.D. is one of my favorite Power Rangers series, so I'll probably get all of them

This is true, but more often than not its known what the figure will come with long before they come out. Despite nowhere having pictures of Navi, it was known Green was coming with her. Green's Tamashii page does list Navi as an accessory too (albeit in Japanese), these don't make any mention of alternate heads.

Guess we'll have to see when preorders go up.

DekaRed, AkibaRed, AkibaBlue, and AkibaYellow confirmed for August.

I'm fairly sure that still says the original June, July, August dates.

I was just thinking about this over in the Akibaranger episode 3 discussion:

Since it's speculated now that Deka Red will come with the giant D-Wapper for use with Figuarts Akiba Red, would it not make since now for Bouken Red to come with the Bouken Shovel that Akiba Blue used in episode 3?

AkibaRangers and DekaRed preorders up at AmiAmi, DekaRed is sold out though :(
