Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Red Quarter-finals Round 2
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

So Carter sailed through round 1 with flying colors (mostly red, a bit of white, and a touch of black). Let's see who'll be moving on to join him in the semi-finals. This time we've got a Ranger who sailed through round 1 versus one who barely eked out a close victory.

Crap, tough one. Well, Tommy has two other chances anyway so I'll go with Wes.

Bigger arsenal, smarter fighter, and just overall more determined leader.

Tommy's martial arts skills may be better, but Wes is no pushover, and is probably able to compensate for is ability to HIYAA with smarter fighting.

Wes. He's an excellent team Leader, and I'd much rather see Tommy go in as White or Green Ranger. Or even Black.

Tommy, because I'm probably the only person who wants to see him as the red Zeo ranger rather than as the goddamn white or green ones.

Plus despite Wes' bigger arsenal, Tommy has plenty of experience in overcoming adversity.

I want him as the Black Brachio Ranger. :D

It feels like I was the only one who voted for Wes because I legit think he can win, not because Tommy will get 3 more chances :lol

That's as surprising as me wanting Gia to win Best Ranger Ever :lol

No, I think Wes could pull this off legitimately.

And the way I have this sorted out, Tommy has 2 more chances. Both the White and Green Rangers are Sixths, but because I only want each character represented once per pool, I'm going to be holding a special "Tommy only" poll to determine which power set is in the competition.

I almost had the Black DT Ranger in the same pool, but I literally just decided to move him so that the Grack pool has a nice even number.

I think Wes could totally win.Tommy was the White and Green Ranger before becoming the Red Zeo,so he had experience.Wes came in as a random guy who just became Time Force Red,and was equal if not better then Tommy was as a leader.Also he has alot more arsenal with him then Tommy does.That and Wes could just back in time and stop Tommy from being born.:P

And Wes succeeds where Casey just slightly failed. He'll be moving on to the semis while Tommy gets to sit down for awhile until his next pool.
