There ought to be a shit ton of toys out for this movie. Proper action-feature laden toys. Robots and Kaiju!

But the point is there's a sequel being made, and it's unlikely this movie is going to tank considering the prescreenings have been overwhelmingly positive.

OK, I was skeptical before(I think del Toro's overrated) but this trailer sold me on it.
