Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Red Semi-finals Round 2
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

No one ever answered what Hunter did in Ninja Storm...

Yeah, I know Hunter made it in here due to having the most votes for a losing Red last round, but I'm not even going to consider voting for him. Wes is my guy.

He kicked the Ninja Storm rangers around a rock quarry with his brother... that's about it. To be honest, I'm surprised he made it this far.

He was up against Rocky in the first round. I'm more surprised at how close he came to beating Andros.

Yup,Wes.He fell into the role of Time Force Red and STILL did a better job then Hunter.That and he has a better arsenal.

I love Hunter, and have seen more of him than I have of Wes. I need to watch Time Force.

Why is Wes so special? I mean I have seen Hunter, not all that bad, probably a better Red then most give him credit, just thinking about all the average red we have had.

I said that they always win; I never specified how. Besides, I've never watched Big Bad Battlin' Beetleborgs.

Also, Hunter's boring. Seriously, Jayen emotes more than this guy.

I counter your Beetle Tank with a train that is not only big enough to hold another megazord inside it,but also it's entire front end is a machine gun.Oh,forgot to mention,it also doubles as A SPACE TRAIN.

Definitely Wes. A nice motif and a different shade of red isn't going to save Hunter.

Sorry Hunter, you are cool as hell but did you really think you could compete against the Red from my all time favourite Power Ranger series? No I didn't think so either. Especially after I lost Connor ;-;

I am 3 episodes in of Time Force, I like Wes, but this series is sucking bad at the moment. Katie and Tripp are enjoyable though.

Going with wee I still stating my point before hunter like Eric not Kent to a official red Eric is class as one due to toei classed time fire as official senshi but they never make hurricane crimson a official red nor did Saban or Disney so hunter just a forth normal ranger and not a official red so we'd wins

But not to classify with either company and just to think about it, he is the red ranger of the thunder academy and powers. At least to me he is a red and leader of his own team even if it was a few episodes.

I will...when it gets better. I was so unhappy when Jen didn't want Wes as part of the team, what about Tripp and Katie's vote? I will watch the series and then voice my opinion :D

Yeah, I think it's safe to call this round for Wes. I'll get the next round up during my lunch break.
