Rumor - Jason Faunt, Wes Time Force Red Ranger, to appear in Megaforce?
 

It seems everyday we have new information to share about possible cast appearing in Power Rangers Super Megaforce! We only post things when we have a solid lead that it's a possibility ... we know that Saban Brands has contacted many past actors, but we only post the rumors of people returning when they drop hints.

This is another instance of a possible hint.

Jason Faunt who played Wes the Red Ranger in Power Rangers Time Force posted on his personal Facebook about the locations he was headed to for work. He mentioned Detroit. He also mentioned New Zealand and laughed about living out of hotels for awhile.

Is Jason Faunt headed to New Zealand to appear in a cameo for Power Rangers Super Megaforce? What do you think? Do you want Wes to return? Share your thoughts!

It would be surprising if he did appear. Last I spoke to him, it was about Super MegaForce as well (remember the video where I had him give Tokunation a shout out? :lol). Like Steven Skyler, he said he hadn't received any calls back then, but he was gonna go out of the country for conventions as well. Could be that he got the call now. But in that case, Steven should've also gotten the call, cause Jason told me that he and Steven actually shared agents when it came to conventions.

There's no Power Rangers convention in New Zealand, or really anything close to it. Power Rangers isn't shown in New Zealand and thus having a Power Ranger actor there, especially in the later seasons, would be kind of silly.

Like having Japanese voice actors for Super Sentai at Power Morphicon. There'd be a few that appreciate it, but the vast majority would go "...huh?"

True true. I'd be part of the few who'd appreciate that. :D

But it would be cool to see Jason Faunt back in action. Dude still had muscle when I last saw him, and I don't think that was just for his motion work in Resident Evil 6 :lol

At this point I'm just going to wait. Rumors involving Toku tend to be BS. Time Train Dinosaurs, anyone? Or Artist Kamen Riders? We'll geta good assortment of returning Rangers, but I'll hold off until about November before I start believing rumors.

Works for me. I hope he comes back with Eric and we see more of the Silver Guardians.

Eric and Wes are my two favourite Rangers, so to have either of them back would make Super Megaforce completely worth it for me.

I would like to see Wes again for PRSM if Jen and Eric come back for it.

Wes and Jen are needed. If there were two characters I could choose to return, it would be them.

I hope Wes & Jen end up being more. Maybe Jen can stay in are time or Wes can go with her to her time.

I thought the implication from the Wild Force team-up was that she stayed back and that's what she meant by "changing her destiny" or whatever she said.

Oh she stayed in the Wild Force team up. It's been years since i'v seen it. Well good if she stayed then when he come's back she come's back.

It was never definitively settled. But given how willing she is to go to participate in cons, I don't think it would be that hard to get Erin Cahill back.

Reminds me how I wished for his counterpart returned in Gokaiger, too bad he's that type of "mainstream actor" in Japan now.

Pretty awesome if he does come out and shows up for a cameo.

Can we get a running list of all the rumored and confirmed past actors? It's starting to become hard to keep track.

But if he had returned, Gokaiger wouldn't be able to follow up on TimeYellow's plot, which was awesome.

I definitely think Wes will be in Super Megaforce. If memory serves, remember in Episode 1 of Megaforce when they showed a closeup of Time Force Red Ranger's key? A sign of things to come, perhaps?

Yeah, Timeranger did kind of get shafted in terms of a tribute episode. Way to drop a bomb on my favorite series Toei.

I thought the Timeranger tribute was one of the most memorable episodes of the season and it was nice that it actually tied up a loose thread, plus their Ultimate Power was one of the most used in the series. Could've been much worse.

I honestly don't remember it. Then I don't remember much from Gokaoger, it all just blends into one long scene of powerspam and Barizog.

But remember: From what we've heard there's alot of new footage in SMF. So more than likely, what we see will look nothing like Gokaiger.

I don't see how Gokaiger had anymore power spam then your average Sentai series...

The Timeranger tribute had TimeYellow sending them back in time to rescue a shrine, where Gai met a young boy while the others killed Shitari as in the Shinkenger/Goseiger movie. In the end they saved it and went back to their time and it was revealed that the boy was TimeYellow's kid that was born after he returned to his time.
