S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade Promotional Page
 

The Bandai Tamashii Nations website has updated with a new page dedicated to the long awaited S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade. This page shows off the new body type the figure will be using, along with all of the accessories that will be included.

Kamen Rider Blade will come packaged with a selection of Rouze cards, the Blay Rouzer, lightning kick and rock effect parts and a range of alternate hands. He will be released in August priced 3990 yen.

I haven't even seen Blade yet, but I can't not buy a figure this good looking that comes with great accessories.

It looks cool...but why do they keep showing off his ab crunch?

I have always liked the look of Blade, but have never gotten around to watching the show... very tempting!

You should give it a watch, I haven't finished it yet but what I've seen is pretty awesome (it's a bit like kamen rider meets Pokemon... Sort of...)

Figure looks nice, and those accessories *drools*. However I really like King form, so I'll probably hold off for a while to see if that gets announced.

To everyone who hasn't watched Blade, WATCH IT.
It's seriously a great series. Dark tones of Ryuki, ongoing story lines (Things aren't resolved in 2 episodes), and great characters. It's awesome.

Oh, and this figure? Bought. So freaking bought.
He even comes with 2 effect parts!? Yes!

Blade was a decent enough show so I'll be happy to add this one to the collection. Now give me a Kiva already damn it. That's the one I really want :(

Can't you get the SH? It's inexpensive, in scale, and heavy enough to kill a small animal with.

Sure but I don't want it. I want the real thing, not a substitute. And it sells for 2000 yen pretty regularly which, while not expensive, is enough for me to say I'd just go ahead and pay the additional for a figuart.

But SH Kiva is nice to have as a stand-in until then.

Yeah I go back and forth about getting the SH Kiva... I know that six months after I do, they'll announce a SHF.

I've had my SH Kiva for a little over 2 years now. No SHF in sight...

Even after they announce SHF Kiva, it'll be 6+ months before he's released, so you're talking at least a year with no Kiva in your collection.

That is a travesty. Like Matrixbeast, I've had SH Kiva for almost 2 years now, and while I know the Figuarts will blow it out of the water, it's a fun figure, and worth having until then.

But, it is your collection to do with as you please, I shouldn't be trying to convince people to spend money, even if I totally think they should. :D

Yeah, SH Kiva is worth owning IMO. Should you go whole hog and get all of the forms? No, but it's still a pretty good toy.

Actually, i disagree with that. The other forms are so cheap anyway, you might as well get all four. They're all really great.

I feel that it's worth pointing out that the only available subs for Blade are infamously bad, even by TVN standards, with most of the lines not being remotely accurate.

I don't get the hate for TVN. If it's not HK, then it's probably fine.

It's a combination of absolutely piss poor video quality and some lines that border HK levels of poor translations (Note: I can't understand Japanese, but from what I heard, there are some hefty errors).

Blades video quality is pretty subpar but no one can really fault any sub group for that. That is unless you're willing to front them the $200+ to purchase DVD/Blu-ray box sets so they can rip higher quality raws on the older shows.

Ryuki was 2 years before Blade, and it looked fine to me. Unless Blade looks worse for some reason.

I'm actually not sure if you're talking about Blade or TV-N in general...

Now I actively avoid TVN when I can. The honorifics and untranslated words are one thing, but some of their translations seem unconnected to what is going on in the shows.
