Rumor - Erin Cahill Not Interested in Super Megaforce?
 

Another rumor to take with a grain of salt but this comes from an individual with ties to the professional side of Erin Cahill and her career.

kalenabear from Rangerboard.com shared some information regarding the possibility of Erin Cahill, who played Jen the Pink Ranger from Power Rangers Time Force, and the possibility of her making an appearance in Power Rangers Super Megaforce:

I did not hear from the direct source yet (meeting up next week!), but another TF ranger will likely not be returning for the same reasons as Cardenas. She was only offered to be in one scene, so it wouldn't have been worth the time & money. I think E is also filming a small indie film this month. But who knows, Faunt may pull her into it. Again, I'm just hearing this from management!

So there you have it. After a few days of promising possibilities of favorites returning, two days in a row of a confirmed rejection (Steve Cardenas) and now a rumored rejection (Erin Cahill).

What do you guys think? Can Jason Faunt talk Erin Cahill in to showing up for a scene? Do you even want Erin Cahill to appear? Are you heart-broken that she may not? Voice your thoughts!

Damn, I'd kill to see Wes and Jen married and fighting as rangers together.

Seriously, I don't ship, but they got married. And since I doubt their morphers ever inexplicably stopped working, they're probably in the SG with Eric. Afterall, pink is just a really light shade of red.

Please PLEASE be on Megaforce. I would love to see Jen back.

Screw getting married, Jen should show up with Wes' illegitimate child that was born in the future but has to come to the present so Jen's fiancé's bloodline is kept intacted.

EDIT: Also, we haven't heard many rumors about pink rangers returning. A bit more variety wouldn't hurt.

I hope Erin has a change of heart. I'm more forgiving with her scenario because she does have a career and she may have offers to do other things at the same time for more money and bigger roles. She's one of the few PR alum who have made it in the big world.

I do hope she comes back, I haven't seen that much of Time Force but she was one of the more dominant Pinks.

Kalenabear is pretty close to Erin, moreso than just a professional stance.

given the way it's being talked of, this might have been a scene like at the beginning of 199, where they just show up long enough to say "our powers burnt out" regardless there is so much difference between Cahill & Cardenes when it comes to Beggars being choosers that it's incomparable.

So it's okay for her to pass for financial reasons, but it's not okay for Cardenas to do the exact same thing? You're not making any sense.

Damn it. I loved Erin in Time Force, and I was honestly hoping she might come back if Wes' actor came back. I loved her because she was a strong female ranger, she took no prisoners, and kicked much ass. And I really hope she changes her mind.

Erin is near the top of my "want them to come back" list. If money's an issue, I propose we start a Kickstarter to pay Erin Cahill to guest star on Megaforce.

And not Steve Cardenas.

Well, every actor who played a Ranger (sans Thuy Trang and Peta Rutter, requiescat in pace) isn't going to sign on for a cameo.

Well, they got at least one actor from every season/series of the show to return. I think most of us will agree that's what we want for Power Rangers, at least one actor from every season/series.

That one still hurts, I loved Mystic Force. And was really hoping she might come back somehow.

It kind of sounds like JDF has a few lines and a bunch of actors are just standing in the background for the lead-in to the Legend War. Seriously, if this anniversary aspect really becomes MMPR one-sided I'm going to be really disappointed. It's a franchise. MMPR didn't last 20 years, Power Rangers as a whole did.

I'm still pretty sure the Legend War is at the end of Megaforce and Super Megaforce is the aftermath, which is what's filming right now. Speculation, of course.

Also, the only confirmed actors are from Disney era or later. I doubt this will get to MMPR sided.

Kalenabear is pretty much Erin's best friend. She helps run Erin's Twitter and is extremely close friends with her in real life. She said she was waiting for a lunch with her soon to get more concrete information.

She's extremely reliable when it comes to Erin Cahill inside information. I was getting on her last Summer about whether she'd be at PMC, which she wasn't. :(

I guess a $50 gift card to Bed Bath and Beyond & a Lunchable no longer works on some people for Saban.

It'd work for me. I love BB&B, and my fridge is nothing but Lunchables. Lunchables and Hot Pockets.

That's a shame, hers is one of the main stories I'd like to see a bit more closure on.

I'm hoping that if Wes shows up they might mention what happened after PRTF somehow, but. Still sucks.

This is what kinda scares me as well.

There is a big difference between Power Rangers nostalgia and Power Rangers fan nostalgia.

I think most will agree MMPR is probably one of the weakest iterations of Power Rangers, beyond that of childhood nostalgia, and the only people who claim it any good are those who are insecure about watching kids shows outside of their childhood so MMPR is cool simply because right now 90stalgia is in.

I don't want Super Megaforce to pander to those guys, those guys aren't real fans, those guys didn't sit through OO and Samurai. I want a celebration of the show as a whole.

... I think Disney owes us all for sitting through Operation Overdrive. I demand the head of Mickey Mouse! Seriously. One of those character heads that people dress in to dance around the parks? I'd love one for my living room.

Damn, I didn't know about Peta Rutter, that's a shame.

She definatly counts. Without her that team would've fell apart, and it was so damn refreshing having a Pink that wasn't useless.

I'd love a whole suit and just wear it really casually and see who notices.
