Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Yellow Division Round 5
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Well, that last round was kind of incredibly one-sided in a hilarious way. Let's move on to a match that should be closer as we match up two Yellow Rangers who are both famous for being... well, pretty mediocre.

I'm going with Aisha just for my childhood sake.

I really don't have much for this one. Neither strikes me as all that good.
Flipped a coin and got Aisha, so...Aisha. *Shrugs*

This is a tough one. Not because I like both of them, but because they're both just kind of meh... Eh, I'll go with Ronny.

Totally agree on this.I'm just gonna vote Ronny cause she had the superhuman speed,and just seemed tougher.

I always thought Ronny was a relative decent character by Operation Overdrive standards. I'd say she's also a better Ranger than Aisha, who was easily the least memorable character from the whole MMPR era.

Aisha. She was memorable, and she wasn't on OO. Much like Samurai I refuse to vote for anyone in OO.

Except maybe Mercury.

Sure she isn't the best yellow ranger out there, but like Sentai said at least she wasn't on Operation Overdrive.

I think its fair to say whoever wins this round wont make it much further

i liked operation overdrive ronny wasnt that bad.

I am going to go with Ronny on principle; Aisha replaced Trini, so I don't want to vote for her.

This is one of those rounds that I don't care who wins.It's a write off cause whoever they go against,you know their opponent will win.

That's pretty much the point of round one; cull the weak so that the later rounds really get interesting.

I went with Aisha. Not because she's better, just because I actually remembered who she is.
