NOTE: While Najee's tweet stated his cast was returning, and we have seen Alex Heartman on set, we have yet to hear anything official from the rest of the Samurai cast about a possible appearance.

It's a little disheartening to see the rumored list and the only one who brings any excitement to me being Jason Faunt/Wes...

All we need is an actor from Wild force, Ninja storm, SPD, Mystic force and RPM then i'm good.

I hope Tommy, Wes and Casey do all turn up in the show.

I also hope Benta and the rest of the Samurai cast stay well away.

The only cast we have "confirmation" of coming back is Samurai. I think I'm slowly becoming Shockercon when it comes to MMPR.

I think it's safe to call JDF and Jason Smith as "confirmed", as we know Jungle Fury has a focus episode in Gokaiger, and JDF cancelled a convention to "go out of the country to film something super important to him". But until they say something more than "GOING ON A TRIP OUT OF COUNTRY LOLZ" or have pictures of them nearly making out with a Megaforce actress, we have to leave it as rumored.

Seriously though, I see your point. JDF, especially, wouldn't be one to just jerk fans around like that. There's just been so much bad news lately it's hard seeing a silver lining.

I had always assumed that they had lost the Titanium Ranger suit. After Disney bought Power Rangers from Saban, they were planning to end the series at the end of "Wild Force", hence the title of the finale, "The End of the Power Rangers". They reportedly cleaned house, throwing away and auctioning off a LOT of old stuff.

The Green Ranger suit from MMPR had to be "re-created" for the cameo in Dino Thunder, while the Zeo suit was the one from Forever Red (I believe), and the White Ranger suit was a used Sentai stunt-suit (hence the armor "falling apart"). I could be wrong but that's what I gathered from Doug Sloan's comments back in the day.

Why can't they just remake it again? Even if they can't get it exact, it's been like ten years just say it's been upgraded.

Jason David Frank is the only one I'm really concerned about. He said all they had to do was ask him and he would do it. I imagine he was probably one of the first ones they contacted so it's a good bet that he will be there. I would also like to see Austin St. John, Walter Jones, Johnny Yong Bosch, Katherine Hillard, Amy Jo Johnson....pretty much everybody from MMPR. 'lol'

But I would also like to see some from SPD, Mystic Force, RPM. Maybe even have both Bulk and Skull back for an episode. I am confused about something though...Matt Austin has commented that none of the Disney-era cast has received invitations from Saban, but Operation Overdrive and Jungle Fury are from the Disney Era and both Jason Smith (JF) and Samuell Benta (OO) are on the rumored list. Granted they were rumored before Matt Austin made that comment but nothing has happened to kill the rumors. I didn't know if maybe I missed something.

Matt Austin later went on to clarify that none of the Disney cast living outside of New Zealand had been contacted as far as he knew. Whether he is referring to his fellow SPD cast members living in the States/Canada is beyond my knowledge.

He's rather bitter though - he threw Power Morphicon under the bus as well in his Saban-blasting message.

Yep, Wes is the only worthwhile character on the rumoured list. Disappointing so far.

Agreed, though I like Blake Foster. I never cared for Justin but the actor seems like a genuinely nice guy on Facebook. I also think it'd be cool to see the only kid Ranger all grown up.

No Disney casts (besides Jason Smith?!) ticks me off.

I know that Dillon (Dan Ewing) and Flynn still live down in NZ but he (Dan Ewing) didn't seem at all pleased with how RPM ended (with Eddie G getting canned) ... in fact, most of that cast except for Gem didn't appear to enjoy working with Chip.

Not too much I'd think, when I spoke to Kalish in 05' he described a warehouse FULL of props. thats where he grabbed the In Space helmets for the "A sqaud"....having no idea what they were.

That's actually another possibility.
Suit is simply lost in the warehouse.

It would probably be a bit broken from misuse from being in storage for so long.

I still dunno why they can't just remake it, even if they haven't got the exact original plans it's been like ten years since Lightspeed, explain away any changes with something like 'this is Mark 2 of the Titanium Powers'.

Jungle Fury wasn't too bad a season, so props to Kalish. The Masters could have had better names and more involvement, but I did like a lot of the edits made in transition. Such as cutting down multi-parters like the 3 "new weapons and Zord" arcs.

Master Swoop seriously was the worst name, I hated his design as well he looked like Dracula got plugged into the matrix :lol

The Masters still got more unique footage than what looks like to be anything in Super Megaforce though.

So Saban's not the only ignorant guy that has had a heavy influence on Power Rangers before.

Yeah to be fair the only good season Kalish made was Jungle Fury, Mystic Force was okay I guess.

No Jack/S.P.D. Red Ranger

Since the annoucement of this email and the news regarding it, I've been thinking about something. If the original purpose was to not bring back actors at all, and instead possibly just use suit actors to pass along the powers or whatnot, that's a great marketing scheme because again, there's no civilian toys of the Rangers. Just Rangers. If kids see all these different Rangers on screen at once, they might want to buy them.

Which means that Kickback was right, and most of you are falling into the "trap" as well. Because I see a lot of you giving up on the show, but still wanting to buy the toys. Congrats Saban, you still win.

Welp there goes the SPD zord combination, it was supposed to be the red rangers zord.

I hope at least one of the Ninja Storm rangers comes back to redeem this, we already lost one zord combination we don't need another lost.

...I'm still watching the season though.

Why would we lose a zord combination over this? That's what suit actors are for. Put a guy in the SPD Red suit and call it a day. Done.

Here's an idea, put some guy in the Doggie Kruger suit, i mean Doggie did play a big part in the Dekaranger tribute.

This. They did it for Tommy in the SPD/Dino Thunder crossover, and they'll do it again.

Well it wouldn't be the first time SPD red's position has been changed.
