Another Jonathan Tzacor bit that will cause you to throw your arms up in disbelief
 

So Amit (writer of "Forever Red") was apparently trying to propose the idea of another "Forever Red" to Jonathan Tzacor awhile back. He pitched the idea stating that doing "Forever Red" during the transition of Saban to Disney was crazy, but they pulled it off, and its nothing short of a miracle that they're able to even think of doing a second "Forever Red", or any big "guest appearance" shot for Power Rangers.

Shows the disconnect of someone who was the Executive Producer of Power Rangers for YEARS and isn't even aware of one of the coolest and memorable anniversary team-ups. I mean, to run a show for years and not even realize that the year you transitioned out there was a 10 year celebration show?

Just baffeling. This is the only franchise I'm aware of that the people in charge literally have no interest in anything that they didn't have their own hands-on over the last 7 years.

It'd be akin to Stan Lee coming back to Marvel, writing a bunch of stories for a few years, and going, "What's a 'Civil War'?" when someone proposes a follow-up sequel to Civil War, the highest selling comic crossover of all time.

That's ridiculous.

Saban, if you let this man adapt Jyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, so help me…

Hopefully he'll quit/be let go come the GoBusters adaptation...

It's ironic that Kyoryuger is essentially a Japanese Power Rangers in tone and general theme, but it'll probably be given a gritty (Well, gritty by PR's standards) rewrite come the English adaptation.

The big deal is that Tzachor is ignorant of a franchise he's been a part of since the 90's. Him not remembering Forever Red is like Dick Clarke not remembering his first New Years Rockin Eve.

I mean, forgetting Forever Red? THE Anniversary Team Up Special? The Special Event that had to turn humbly to Bandai for funding? The Special that had the most amazing Morph sequence in Power Rangers ever? You can FORGET THAT?!

So one question how in the hell do you work for a damn company for 10+ years, help create it, help make one of if not the best episodes of its legacy, then forget it after another 10 years? W. T. F.

I agree with GoseiWonder. A thread dedicated to Jon's mishaps and other stupidity would save space and we'll have all the info in one neat little spot.

In all seriousness he does need to be let go if his actions are upsetting the fans that much. Does he even understand why people are upset with him in the first place?

Well, his actions are upsetting me on a rather odd level. The level of sharing a name.

But at least I'd make sure Super Megaforce had at least 20 guest stars with one guest star per season. But all this news of people not coming makes me ask, "Are we getting ANY guest stars?"

I've never watched Forever red, and I've only been back into power rangers for what, 2/3 years maybe? Yet I know what it is.

Sadly these things just boil down to money, whilst power rangers is still crazy popular (which it is) and still making money (which it is) I can't imagine anyone will be going anywhere soon.

I'm wondering why Tzachor is getting the blame, when chances are he's just doing what Elie or Haim are telling him to do. "Sell toys, make the show cheap as possible, make us rich" something to that effect I'm sure.

This article of sorts has been floating around the PR fandom for a long time and I feel illustrates what's wrong with Tzachor and shows who should truly be the guy running PR.

He's to blame here because it's something he said. When people start ranting about him being at fault for actors not returning/stories being the same or whatever, then yeah that makes little sense, as there are likely numerous other parties and higher ups involved.

Still it's the exact same logic why Michael Bay gets blamed for everything to do with the live action transformers films, give people the name of a producer/director and they will hook everything onto them, auter theory and all that...

I know a lot of people trust Fury Diamond and I know Saban is an awful company, at least when it comes to artistic integrity, but come on by this point there are like three confirmed actors for the anniversary season making Saban look both pathetic or stupid, so I'm starting to wonder if maybe the shittiness of Super Megaforce has been deliberately constructed by Saban, who are secretly making a much better show while our rage distracts us.

I’m not saying Fury Diamond is lying but is it possible Saban is? Contracting the actors to say they didn't get into the show so when they do turn up in the show, the internet is surprised? It must be frustrating, to some degree, when you wanna surprise your audience and the internet says, 'we knew this already, we knew this a year ago' all the time.

I know that sounds like an utterly ludicrous conspiracy theory but I just can’t fathom how Saban can say, with a straight face, that they had no plans to invite past actors and don’t have the budget to hire more actors than I can count on a single hand.

It just seems impossible in how stupid it all is.
