10 Past Rangers Confirmed for Super Megaforce
 

Rangercrew Member Fury Diamond once again breaks some news for Super Megaforce.

Not counting the Samurai Rangers, it seems that only 10 past actors have signed contracts to reappear on Super Megaforce.

Earlier, Jason Faunt has confirmed that he will be reprising his roll as Wesely Collins, in addition to David Slavin and Jason David Frank whom both confirmed that they will be making cameos.

Glad to hear we're at least getting SOME of the Reds involved. I'm excited to see how this pans out but not excited for the show really.

Good news, but uh..is there any way we can get all of this Super Megaforce casting information condensed or something? Or a way to filter the front page (unless I'm not seeing one)? It's a bit bothersome having to scroll through like 10 topics all on various cameo confirmations for the show, especially since it's not one I have any real special interest in...

ok so after reading the tread over at ranger crew jason smith has all read filmed his tribute episode for super megaforce. so in theory we have 11 confirmed cameo 10 of witch have not filmed there tributes plus the samurai cast hope fully for the goseiger/shinkenger vs movie adaption and not a tribute leave that to laruen i say due to her being the kaoru shiba of power rangersl.

We got Casey, Tommy and Wes, I'm already a lot happier than I was.

When it comes to JDF who confirmed him? Did he himself or Saban confirm him? NO I dont think so. This is false info when it comes to JDF. I know I work for him and a good friend. Please stop putting his name in rumors. If he is going to be a part of this HE will tell his fans. No one else.

Well this is some good news, I hate that we're only getting so little amount of past rangers however with limited episodes and limited funds we can only get so much.

I believe the very nature of a 'rumor' is unconfirmed information, not fact. naturally when he announced he couldn't attend an upcoming appearance to be out of the country, people would talk.

Jason David Frank canceles his appearance at a convention that's corresponds with the dates of the Megaforce Filming. Unless there's some reason other reason that you'd like to tell us it's only natural for us to put two and two and two together combined with the fact that he did say he'd come back for sure if Saban invited him. Besides, Jason David Frank loves the work he's done in Power Rangers and his fans, if anyone is going to be a shoe-in for an appearance, I'd like to think it's going to be him.

There's no need to get so defensive about this.

Bee, take it down a notch. No one's attacking you. But we do have solid confirmation that JDF is going to be in Super Megaforce. Let's keep the debate friendly guys, come on.

And I had a thought. Remember the scene in Gokaiger where Gai was explaining how he came across his power? That Aba-Killer, Dragon, and TimeFire all came to him in a dream and gave him the Gokai Cellular? What if that's how they handle giving the Rangers the powers without the actors being there? Just have the suits show up and BAM Bob's your Uncle.

Only way I see it working unless they decide to pull a Decade. Bring in new actors to play the Rangers. Like New Den-O, and Wataru Kid.

Just where is this SOLID confirmation guys? You all have nothing until you hear if from the mans mouth himself. That is all that I am saying. Not cool at all.

He cancelled an appearence in Puerto rican Comic con which is on the date when Megaforce's filming is set to start.

NO. JUST... NO. It worked for Kamen Rider Decade because Decade traveled through alternate universes. The only alternate universe we're celebrating in Power Rangers is RPM, and all of our rumors have made it seem as though that cast wasn't even invited.

However, I did come up with an idea regarding how Megaforce Silver got his powers.

[Open to a dark and stormy night. Lightning flashes, thunder crashes, as we focus in on a hospital.]

[Cut to a bed. Megaforce Silver lies comatose, a cardiogram beeping. Lightning flashes, and Dr. Tommy Oliver is revealed to be sitting in a chair overlooking his bed. A voice is heard.]

Voice: You sure this is a good idea?

[Dr. Oliver looks up.]

[Lightning flashes, and the camera cuts to Eric Meyers, standing in a corner, arms crossed.]

Eric: You know better than I do how hard it is to be a Ranger.

[Cut to Dr. Oliver.]

Dr. Oliver: The Megaforce needs help; he's the best candidate.

[Cut to shot from Megaforce Silver's perspective. Dr. Oliver is on the right, and Eric walks in from the left. Lightning flashes, and Trent is now seen to be sitting in a chair in front of Silver.]

Trent: He's brave, too; putting himself in a coma trying to help everyone. [Trent walks up to Silver as he speaks. He places an object on a table next to Silver.]

[Cut to Trent's hand placing the object on the table. It is revealed to be the White Dino Ranger Key.]

[Cut to Silver's perspective.]

Dr. Oliver: The doctors aren't even sure if he'll ever come out. This might be the only way to wake him up. [Dr. Oliver places something to the left of the White Dino Ranger Key.]

[Cut to Dr. Oliver's hand placing the object on the table. It is revealed to be the Mighty Morphin' Green Ranger Key.]

[Cut to Silver's perspective.]

Eric: Well... when you put it that way. [Eric reaches over and places a final object on the table.]

[Cut to Eric's hand placing the object on the table. It is revealed to be the Quantum Ranger Key.]

[Cut to a flash of lightning outside.]

[Cut to a shot of Silver from Trent's perspective. The other Rangers are gone (Trent included) as Silver lies comatose. On his chest lays the Silver Ranger Morpher. The cardiogram's beeping begins to increase, and lightning flashes.]

Wel…they could always have just the suit come back and get someone to do a voice over.

Hiring new actors sounds just as expensive as getting the old ones back.
