It's not the Toxic Avenger? I'll admit I'm not an expert on him, but I thought the mop was a dead giveaway.

Whether or not it's tokusatsu probably depends on how you define it. It has the rubber costumes and all, but it doesn't really fit the same style as Kamen Rider, Godzilla, or Ultraman.

Zeriam: Iriam the Animation (Or the Live Action), aren't Toku. They are extremely awesome. But not Toku.

It is Toxic Avenger, however you listed Crusader. I wanted to be a jerk. =P The only difference is that Crusader is the cartoon version of the show.

As for it being Tokusatsu, the third film features Toxie being in Japan and filling out a list of Toku-tropes. =P Soooo

How exactly is Zeriam Toku? I don't remember Iria using a Henshin.

Honestly, I don't think Tokusatsu requires a henshin sequence... I mean look at Godzilla.

Tokusatsu just needs special effects

QFT. There is no "henshin requirement" nor is there a "superhero requirement" to be tokusatsu. Tokusatsu is a medium, and not a genre.

Lost in Space was duded in Japanese as a Tokusatsu called Uchuu Kazoku Robinson (Space Family Robinson) in the 1960s
