Blake Foster NOT Appearing In Super Megaforce
 

Unfortunately, it seems the Blue Turbo Ranger will NOT be back in Super Megaforce.

Confirmed through Mr. Fosters' Facebook page, the former actor was unable to agree with Saban's terms and thus the scheduled appearance fell through. :(

Ah. Forgive me then, but this is good news. I hated his character in Turbo, I hated the idea of his character in Turbo, and I cheered when he got left behind on Earth when Turbo moved to In Space.

So him not being in Super Megaforce? "That's nice, but what else is on?"

I don't understand why everyone is so upset?

He was easily one of the worst parts of one of the worst Power Rangers seasons ever, I don't see this as a loss at all.

I liked Justin. The actor seems cool. I wanted to see the former child ranger as an adult in canon.

You know what I'd like to see? "Blue to Infinity." It's be like "Forever Red," but with Blue Rangers.

I was expressing that in my capacity as a Moderator. And trying to stop this thread from becoming another Saban v Fans ragefest.

I'm just saying, someone expressing their disdain towards the situation is no less harsh than essentially rubbing it in their faces that someone wasn't coming back.

And when did this happen? All I said was I didn't like his character, his concept, or anything about him. And I wasn't interested if he was coming back or not. I never jumped up and clapping and selling "No Turbu Blue!" tee shirts at a discount. I never rubbed it in anyone's face.

If you recall my little debacle against Mnemonic a few weeks back, it was over the semantics of the word and the implications it leaves.
You're implying that everyone who expresses regret or disappointment over his disclusion is wrong.

And you're reading to much into what I was saying. I was implying that I agreed with him, nothing more. Not that everyone who disagrees with me is automatically wrong.

Shame. He would have been one of the more interesting characters to have return.

maybe what i said was harsh. but isnt it a sentiment many of us feel? and until this gets ironed out(ie SMF airs and is done) its gonna be a fans v saban ragefest. or saban issues some sort of official statement to us whats going on, why the budget is preventing popular charecters from returning, etc

budget, the way they would be used, the lack of advance warning for actors to travel to new zealand and the fact that 10-15 years on people arent willing to drop everything for 2 days acting work on a show that paid them peanuts.

Basically, the situation has been mishandled and too many fans are writing off the series before its ever aired.

I dont think Saban should issue any kind of statement, we should accept that they will do as they please and the series we end up with is what they choose it to be. Its not OUR show, its THEIRS, so they are entitled to handle it as they believe is correct, even if we strongly disagree. Does anybody really think the company is going to make a statement to the tune of 'yeah, the series hasnt aired yet but we fucked it up, we disrespected the majority of the fan favourite shows, the longterm fans wont be pleased and we were too tight with money'? That would be utterly unprofessional and if fans werent so obsessed with the minutiae of the details, or just plain spoiled by a largely flawless sentai, we would say 'ok, this worries me, but i'll still be watching and hope for the best'. They said they were doing this season for the fans, it wont be gokaiger, but it will be something special.

Personally i dont care if Blake Foster or anybody else isnt in it. Theres over 100 cast members to choose from, and 20 episodes to fit them in, so im sure there will be enough to give us something good. And try to remember, non-disclosure agreements are there to stop spoilers from getting out. in 10 days we'll know just how much we've been told is true.

An adult Justin could have been interesting, growing into adulthood as the lone Ranger (They could have played on that motif) left with Turbo powers. Shame we won't see that.

nondisclosures are a nonissue with the all knowing FuryDiamond on the case. whats in 10 days?

I never thought any one cared about his character enough to care what he was like as an adult. Guess I'm wrong.
