Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Yellow Division Quarter-Finals Round 4
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

well then... I oddly I don't see Gia having tooo hard of a time here.

Fu. So much for me giving everyone in Mystic Force a trip to the next round, I can't vote against Gia. I just can't.

so i thought this wasnt a popularity contest by the rules so chip clearly outclasses gia by sheer power. she doesnt stand a chance in reality.

While I agree that it should be more than a popularity contest, you have to remember that sheer power =/= superior ability.
Being able to fire the bigger blast doesn't necessarily make you the stronger character.

No,cause this is happening before Super Megaforce.Consider her just having Gosei Yellow's powers.Honestly I can see Chip winning.Gia's only ranged attack is the headers and her sidearm.Chip has his wand,his crossbow,tons of spells to stop her from even moving.

Gia could win on skill alone. She's a much more capable fighter, and when you add the powers given by Earth and the Headders, I think she could win this without her popularity. (And yes, the Megaforce team can use their Headders. Remember, they all attach to their firearms.)

Go Chip! As I am a Ginger too and he is one of my favorite Yellows.

And we're tied. Is it possible that we may be on our way to a major upset?

If Chip wins this round we might as well declare Kira the winner for Yellow.

Never underestimate the power of magic.

I am sure his magic could help in a fight and I don't think Gia is any more capable of a fighter, I would think they are going to be on the same level. Also, Chip and transform in to his zord, that would have to give him some what of an advantage.

I doubt that, I think Lily can have a chance.

Zords don't factor into this. The only reason Gia should be allowed an exception is that the nine Headders (Ground, Sea, and Air) can be called on to attach to the front of their sidearms in battle. Gia was even seen in an episode using all thre Ground Headders by herself to free Emma. And Chip.. Look, I love Mystic Force. That being said, Chip was not a capable fighter. He was always set as the comic relief. He had moments, sure, but in a fight with Gia? He'd get stomped.

Exactly, besides Chip is awesome, though it would be really surprising if we ended up with a Male Yellow.

Still, got to pull out the magic card, magic is powerful.

He still has to wear the skirt.
