Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Yellow Division Finals
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Kira's Super Dino Mode grants flight.
Lily's Master mode grants FREAKING JET BOOSTERS.

Kira can scream really loud.
Lily has an elephant mace.

Kira has a blaster.
Lily can shoot an ethereal cheetah.

Kira has a bad make up job.
Lily has martial arts mastery.

Kira can't hold a candle to Lily.

LILY! She has been trained by martial arts masters! Not MASTER but MASTERS! thats right...plural...with an S. She gained her masters stripes before even the team leader!

Lilys Jungle master mode is waaay more powerful then crappy dino mode.

Lily has MULTIPLE weapons she mastered. She also controls the Elephant spirit ranger, how is that not a major bonus?

Oh yeah....Gia fans...remember Kira is the reason Gia isn't here in the finals!

Because honestly: I don't really care about Power Rangers as a franchise. Sure, I like certain shows (Dino Thunder and RPM) and I want to watch more (mainly In Space and Time Force) but I don't consider myself a fan. The fandom and its obnoxiousness has certainly made sure of that.

And Jungle Fury as of late has being attracting a lot of obnoxious fanboys, so I don't wanna touch it; especially when I can just watch Gekiranger.

Lily.As a fighter just way better.Better weapons,way better super mode.You know it's a good super mode when it has the word "Master" in it and involves body jet boosters.

I watched only bits and pieces of Jungle Fury and the entirety of Dino Thunder... but I went with Lily because she can summon an ethereal cheetah, surf-boarding penguin, and elephant, in addition to the Elephant Spirit Ranger. Keep in mind, this is before you take into account the standard-issue super-speed, strength, endurance, and powers (not to mention the skills).

I vote the secret option of 3. For Gia.

Kira is probably my favourite yellow. Lily on the other hand is one of my least favourite rangers period.

However as this is not a popularity contest I can't deny Lily has much more going for her in terms of skill and abilities. Lily it is.

Lily because she is one of my favourite Rangers ever. She obviously trumps Kira completely as a person and as a Ranger anyway, since Kira has no personality other than a flat offensive archetype and her skills as a fighter and Ranger are non existent unless the plot says otherwise. Lily on the otherhand is a martial arts master, has taken generals on alone, has jets, maces, ghost mech beams and a whole other ranger she summons from within. So yeah, fuck you Kira.

I am going to think this over and watch an episode of each of them before I vote.

Lily wins simply by her actress's scene in cabin in the woods. Had Kira done work like that , then I would have voted for her.

Lily because of her Martial arts training. I do kind of like Kira but I think Lily wil win this fight.

Cabin in the woods was good fun and she is real topless in it. The 3rd act of the movie is particularly entertaining. It's on Netflix now.

I voted for Lily because Lily is a wonderful Yellow Ranger who has the combat skills to pay the bills. Still pissed about Trini getting shafted but if she can't win it, Lily is my second choice.
