First teased at a Tokyo Toy Show several months ago (and in the beginning of Akibaranger S2 shortly after), this is our first look at Hurricane Red!

I know next to nothing of Hurricaneger (and Ninja Storm I'd like to forget) but this guy looks GLORIOUS. A definite buy.

He looks beautiful.

Very nice looking, but what's with that thing on his chest in the bottom left? It has the Shurikenger's "fire mode" symbol on it. Is that something that happened in the show? My main experience to the series was the team ups and Ninja Storm (with a few untranslated eps here and there).

Yes! And he comes with the faux Shurikenger chest plate that Akiba Yellow made for him in episode 7 :D

It's something the Hurricangers wear in Akibaranger Season 2. They were made by Akiba Yellow.

I love the Hurricanger outfits and I loved the Red Hurricanger in the first episode

You all know my stance on Ninja Storm. But has a Figuart? That thing is sweet.

Happy for all you Hurricaneger fans. That does look like one of the best Super Sentai Figuarts around, and would give some insight into how they might do Kyoryuger.

Now we are inching slowly to the Rio and Mele Figuarts...

One can only hope :(

I agree, Kyoryuger and Magiranger are the two series I hope for above all else at the moment.

We must pray as hard as we can for them to happen. I'm legitimately salivating at the opportunity to see a figuart for Gouraijers and Shurikenger.

Cool, but after tasting the rainbow in the summer, I won't have anything left for him come Sept.

If they released Shurikenger, would his powered up mode be a separate release or do you think they'd release Shurikenger with an alternate head and removable chest plate?

They'd definitely release Fire Mode as another figure. Probably an exclusive too.
But maybe not. They seemed to learn with Ryuranger and Kibaranger that it's okay if they let us consumers have an alternate chest part that doesn't involve a separate release.

With Shurikenger, it would probably be an alternate chest. If they had the vest peg into the body, then that would leave lots of holes for Fire Mode. They could include plugs to fill in the holes, but that doesn't seem very Figuarts-y. If it didn't peg into the body, then it would be loads floppy. And I don't think Figuarts would do a completely separate chest. I really see them releasing
Fire Mode as a separate figure.

Yeah, I guess that's true, considering his chest plate's design. Clam shelling would be probably too clunky and floppy.
