Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Blue Division Round 3
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Okay, so we all know that these early rounds are mostly about weeding out the weak, lame, and unpopular Rangers so that the real talent can move on to the later rounds. Sometimes, though, you end up with two really great Rangers matched up in the opening round and it can be really hard to choose which one gets to move on.

This ain't one of those rounds. :p

Um...yeah I'm going to have to think about this...

I like Justin. He's pretty cool.

So after looking them both up, Chad has martial arts training and a sort of Battlizer form. So that's my decision.

But Justin is a little kid, and Chad would never hit a kid :p

Chad. Because he isn't the single absolute single worst idea ever to come out of the worst season Saban has ever made.

I don't know Chad very well so I'll go with Justin.

Chad.The only thing he lacks is a personality,but I have a feeling the Blue Ranger section fo this contest is gonna hear that comment alot.He had physical training,both in martial arts and his type of rescue style.He was the underwater team member.Heck,he saved most of the team during the finale from death.Not just getting beaten,but death.

Justin has more votes? Is this going to be like Transformers Botcon's Hall of Fame a couple of years ago when a lot of people nominated Erector?

I honestly don't think Justin will advance beyond this round unless a miracle occurs.

I'd rewatch Turbo 10 times over than even consider finishing Super Samurai...
I don't see the blatant hate for Turbo. I find it to be charming.

Chad had the Mega Battle upgrades and was more skilled in martial arts than Justin. He wins this round.

I just tried to go through all the blues I could remember and came up with about two of them. This will be a very hard competition for me.

How forgettable are most of the Blues anyway. I already forgot who the people in this round were. Fine the guy who's not Justin gets my vote

And we give it all up on the perceived annoyance of a character 90% of you don't remember a single line from to prove and verify their apparent annoyance. :I

His existance is enough.

I bet if Justin was a ranger at the age the rest of them were, he'd be pretty damn badass.

I dunno, Chad's skills and his Mega Battle would have made him a threat to whomever he drew, at least in my book. Justin just doesn't bring the skills for me.

Or he could have, if people would actually watch Turbo and not just take what someone says on the internet as law.

I did watch turbo and i enjoyed turbo except for parts of it(elgar being 1 of those parts). i didnt mind justin and he was what we all wanted to be as a kid. I still say chad has superior skill and a quasi battlizer.

I did watch turbo as a kid,heck I watched every series that came out...sans OO for obvious reasons.I don't mind Justin as a Blue,but to me he's a liability.Being a kid makes him a HUGE target for the enemy.I don't want the "Best Ranger Team" to always have a blue thats in trouble.

True Chad got in his share of trouble,but he was able to get out of it through teamwork and fighting.The reason Justin is liked so much is just what decepticus said,he's what we all wanted to be.I think Justin was a good fighter,just more trouble then he's worth.

Also who would you want leading your team more,a kid who got the power cause the former blue got hurt and he found out their secret,giving Zordon no choice but to,or a guy who was chosen for his position due to his training?

Okay, looks like years of fan hate have caught up with Justin. Chad will move on to the quarter-finals.
