Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Blue Division Round 4
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

When I was a kid that shark helmet was the coolest thing ever.

Dammit...Theo is technically the superior ranger.
But I just love Max so much. He was the heart and soul of the Wild Force rangers!

Theo has bat themed tessen, but Max has a Shark costume...

why is he listed as max wright in the poll? i am giving it to max, i dont want to se two jungle fury rangers on the ultimate team.

Apparently I think the Blue Wild Force Ranger also played the dad on Alf and, more importantly, the boss on Misfits of Science.

And it looks like I can't edit the poll. Oh well, it gave me a chance to namedrop Misfits of Science.

I'm going with Max.He got along with the others and kept them on track.Also,like CivilShark said,that shark helmet was awesome.

Sure I didnt like Rocky's forearm axes,but Max's shark fin blades make more sense.

I went with Theo because I barely remember Max but still the Jungle Fury rangers are well trained.

I got to go with Theo. He had some great training and weapons. Can't go wrong with Theo.

I am legitimately amazed that so many people liked Max. I always kinda wanted to punch him in the face.

I considering not voting just because to me Theo IS the better choice but I dont know if two Jungle furies should make it to the ultimate team

Not only is Theo the far superior Ranger in all regards but the Wild Force cast were unlikeable and horrible as well. So although I wasn't that hot on Theo's characterisation, in comparison he comes out on top in both areas.

Oh look, two rangers I really don't care about or think were particularly special. I might have to abstain from this round.

I completely agree with you, it's why I voted for Theo.

Tough call, but going with Theo. He's just got the edge in a one on one fight. If Max had Danny as a second, this would go differently.

Well at least this round has two blues I remember so I'll go with Theo but I do still like Max.
