Having Netflix means I don't really require it, but it's still cool.
I'm not a big fan of "Volumes", though, but what can ya do? :P

So basically the first half of Season 1.

"Day of the Dumpster" through "The Rockstar".

Volume 2 would then theoretically be "Calamity Kimberly" through "An Oyster Stew".

$40 total for 60 episodes of Power Rangers? Count me in!

Kind of crappy though that you would then assume that they will break Zeo, Turbo, and In Space in to smaller sets but still keep it "Two volumes per season".

By the time RPM rolls around they pretty much have to do the whole season in one set though.

Hm, I'll probably bite. Though I want to see how many episodes and what bonus features these will volumes will have.

Pre-ordered! I feel like I've been waiting forever for these dvds.

See, I'm not into watching stuff stream, especially tv series. Having an episode pause to buffer is majorly annoying. Plus, streaming will never look anywhere near as good as a DVD. There is too much pixelation and blockage. However, I'm not sure if I am going to watch the show more than once to make it worth buying the DVDs. On the other hand, I could use some high quality footage for my Sentai panel in Sept...

I'm planning to buy every series I own the Sentai versions to, but we'll see if that happens.

A must own for the archive. :) You never know if Netflix will lose the right to stream the series and then these become your only option to view the series.

Oh I am definitely buying this. Seasons 1-3 and Zeo, then Lightspeed Rescue at the very least. Shout! Factory is going to be printing money with these.

Depends on sales. Luckily, it doesn't take much for Shout! to release more.

Yeah, Shout isn't like Disney. While they may be slow to release the next volume (ie Conan the Adventurer), usually when they start releasing a series, they release all of it.

Yeah, and that is how they were doing their Transformers and GI Joe sets.

Anyone know if the audio will be Dobly Digital or just Stereo?

I'm going to guess stereo since Shout does not do any remastering of the audio. They just use whatever is given to them.
