Figuarts Kamen Rider Abyss mass release in September??
 

Not gonna front page this for now since its still strictly rumour but Cybergundam just put up a list of Bandai September releases and amongst the ones we already knew about (Infinity Style, Hurricane Red) was none other than this guy...

What series is he from?

Decade. Although he's modelled on the Ryuki Riders as he's from the AU Ryuki world.

I want this figure so much. Mainly because this was one of the few good things to come out of Decade design wise.

I can see me picking this guy up if it's true. Truth be told I prefer his design to quite a few of the non-main Ryuki characters.

Yet still no KyoryuRed. This sucks ....

Sweet, I like his design and the Ryuki arc was one of my favourites of decade. Watching blade at the moment though and I can't help but think another Blade rider/form would have been better =/

Wait a second. You're telling me that Tamashii Nations, a company so afraid of taking risks that it puts some of the most recognizable suits from the shows (Blue/Yellow Buster, all of Wizard's forms, practically every Mirror Monster) on sale online only, but when it comes to Kamen Rider Abyss, a character who was made up in a one-arc tribute to a series, it's a mass release?
Sheesh. I'm not angry that it's more available, it just makes no sense at all.

We can't even get all 13 Ryuki Riders but we're getting a nobody like Abyss?

And Imperer was a little bitch. As were Gai, Femme, and Verde. I don't give a damn if the 4 riders I hate the most are exclusive. I liked Abyss, even as a one off, it's still cool as hell that they even made him for the tribute episodes. He's a prime candidate for exclusivity but I have no problem at all with him being general retail. He appeared in 2 episodes of a show. Verde, Femme, and Ryuga appeared in 2 movies. I don't see it being that much different.

If he is being released, I'll get him. I love the Ryuki Figuarts body, it's awesome, and Abyss is a great design.

Of course there are plenty of characters I'd rather have before this *cough*Saga,Kiva*cough* but I'll take what they give us.

There were 15 Riders and 19 suit designs in Ryuki alone.
And instead of getting any more of those, we're getting a Decade one off who was actually a Blade homage character pretending to be a Ryuki homage character.

I liked Femme and Imperer's designs. They were two figures I intended on buying should money allow it. But instead I have to sit and wait while Decade gets a 3rd figure and a 2 episode nobody gets released instead.

Is that Decade the regular version or Violent Emotion?

I imagine Violent Emotion. I don't think they'd rerelease the original if VE basically came out to solve all of the problems people had with the original.

There designs aren't even what I'm talking about. If you want to talk about screen time then Abyss deserves the exact same chance at being released that Femme and Verde got. It literally does not matter what show he's from, he's a tribute to Ryuki and his appearances rival Ryuki's movie only riders who are definitely getting released. I think your hatred of all things Decade is blinding you to the point that it's really not a big deal. Logically Abyss has every reason to be released :p

Who says you have to wait for Femme and Imperer anyway? They are happening. They may not have release dates but they have been featured as upcoming releases along with their monsters in various magazine scans. Odin & Goldphoenix, Scissors & Volcancer, and Verde were also featured in those same scans and they definitely happened. So my question is what are you really complaining about?

The release is of Decade not VE. So.. yea, that doesn't make much sense, does it?

Maybe we're looking at this wrong. Maybe TN hasn't lost their minds, maybe they're testing the waters. If Abyss sells, maybe there'll be less Exclusives and more Mass Releases?

Remind me, it's been awhile. Didn't the proto for Abyss turn up around the type we first saw Zolda, Magnugiga, and the Genocider? It might explain why he gets a fast track because he's been around longer prototype wise in comparison to some of the other Ryuki riders. I'm still boggled by mass release though.

I mean I hope they fixed the flaws the fixed with VE :p Or whatever. I don't know what they changed, I just really want a regular Decade.

Then buy the Violent Emotion? It comes with a regular Decade head.
