The newest Super Sentai Figuart branch has begun! This is our first real look at Hurricane Red!

Red will be a mass release in September for 3990 Yen

Looks perfect, so beautiful. I just can't wait. We've got Zyuranger, Gokiager, Shinkenger, Dairanger, Jetman and Dekaranger, now all we need is Magiranger for a full set of the best looking Sentai suits.
I really hope he has his parasol though. PLEASE GIVE HIM HIS PARASOL!

Unlike the fake rider in the other thread, this guy looks awesome. I hope he comes with some ninja accessories, but is it too much to ask for a character specific stand? I mean, they are going fake shark rider a stand, why not start giving their rangers ones too?

BTW, Meteor, you should check out Hurricanger. It isn't full of bad acting, poor music, and a Los Luchadores reject.

For me this is probably one of my most anticipated designs to get a Figuarts release.

Glad to see Hurricanger getting some much love lately. It was a great series.

I find myself wanting all of the Sentai Figuarts, despite being unfamiliar with, or flat out disliking the shows they're from. So this dude goes on the wantlist.

I can pass on this, easy.
But if this does lead to the Gouraigers/Thunder Brothers, then we'll talk.

Honestly, you seem so bitter. It's fairly par for the course as of late to release a Rider ("fake" or otherwise) with a stand. Except for Akibaranger, I don't recall seeing too many Sentai stands.

Act IV stands are what? 20 bucks shipped for three of them? That's the price I paid last year for all my OOO OCC stands anyway.

I am guilty of this. I hated Operation Overdrive and had not seen Boukenger at the point when I bought BoukenRed. Damn plastic Crack!

How is Abyss a "Fake Rider"? He has a belt..he shouts "henshin!" he might not have appeared in Ryuki, but that's pretty damned real to me. No body is forcing you to buy Abyss you know, but he has every right to come out as any other Rider…more so then Hurricane Red since Bandai's been teasing him for a long time.

As for Hurricane red…he looks fantastic, but I'm a little sad cause it doesn't look like he has the umbrella and cloth he uses in the roll calls.

They really need the rest of the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers to make this Akibaranger reference proper. Also Tentoraiger.

Yeah, I know, I have bought 11 packs of the stands and I still don't have enough for everyone. Hence why I said they need to just start giving the main characters their own stands in their boxes. And after a while, you realize that $16 is just too much for figure stands. I love them, they are great to display my figures on because it keeps them safe and allows them to be in action poses, but they are expensive for just a piece of clear plastic and screws. I could have bought Genocider for all of the moment I have spent on them.

Because he is not actually part of Ryuki. He is just a bad fanfiction character as that is all Decade was, bad fanfiction.

No Murphy with the Deka girls means I was not going to expect the umbrella and cloth.

He's still a Rider though, as is Decade, it's not fanfiction if it's official.

And honestly, Decade's purpose was for an anniversary season with fanwank without pissing all over the previous Rider mythos, hence the AU part.

For what it was, I think they accomplished what they attended.

I love Ninja Storm, despite the general dislike for it it seems in the fandom and so I'd get this in celebration of that show, not Hurricanger.

That's why the first and last shots of the series featured every original Rider (As explicitly stated) dying.
That surely won't piss over or piss off anyone.

Ninja Storm is a series I put into my queue along with Dino Thunder and Zeo to see if they're as good/bad as everyone says.

100% agreed here. People need to let it go that a "fake" rider is getting a figure. There's no need to bitch when literally ALL of the other Ryuki riders have been released, are scheduled for release, or have prototypes that are going to be announced for release, all in the near future.

And if you need some other justification just remember that the "fake" AU movie riders from Ryuki have just as much screen time as good old "fake" Abyss did. Ryuki's movies, which are alternate timelines featuring new characters, are just like the AU episodes of Decade Abyss appears in.

Actually on topic with Hurricane Red, the old DX action figures for the Hurricangers aren't too hard to find and I believe they came with the parasols. Shouldn't be that hard to find one of them affordably to give him a parasol.

Dino Thunder btw is super overrated, the first half of the season where they are establishing and setting everything up is great but there is basically no pay off and it all falls apart in the second half of the show, especially with how awkward some of the footage adapting becomes.

Nah, DT is not perfect, but it is by far the best of the Disney era and the only PR series they did to be good.

Better than RPM and Jungle Fury?

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to disagree, I think DT is easily one of the worst seasons done by Disney, who I personally feel had some consistently awesome seasons, much more so than Saban.

I'll add SPD and Mystic Force to that too.

DT wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, there was nothing exceptional about it. It just was there, not incredibly memorable, not very exciting, not much really new to be shown.

Why should people let it go? Prototypes mean nothing or else Kiva fans would all have Saga in hand by now.

Mystic Force was great, I'm planning on giving SPD another go, it didn't live up to the hype in the past. Loved it as a kid though.

But yeah DT is just bland MMPR nostalgia.

have ALL been release already. Odin & Goldphoenix are releasing in July and Scissors & Volcancer not long after that.

Femme & Blancwing, Alternative & Pshycorogue, Imperer & Gigazelle, Biogreeza, and Destwilder are literally the only things without solid release dates. 3 riders and 5 monsters. And all of them have been seen, all have been featured in magazines for 2013-14 release, and Bandai does not stop releasing characters from a series once they're this far in anymore. Yes, they did that with Kiva and Agito, and older shows from an older part of the line. They simply do not do that anymore. They don't stop halfway thorugh on riders or sentais for that matter. They finish teams now, and in terms of Ryuki they have released a rider and or a monster consistently for the last 2 years every month to 2 months.

So your "it's just like Kiva" argument is completely invalid based on the release information on Ryuki riders so far. It's ridiculous to keep up this front about Abyss when it literally has no bearing on any of the other Ryuki figures being released or not.

It's not taboo, you can have whatever opinion you want. But in this particular case you just come off as hating, there's no logical reason to be upset about Abyss who has just as much "right" to exist as Femme, Ryuga, and Verde. Considering 2 of the 3 I just named DO exist it kind of validates my point.

Scissors is being released on his own, so Volcancer is still unaccounted for.

My apologies. But the point still remains that nearly everything in Ryuki is accounted for at this point. I knew they weren't being released together but Volcancer can't be far behind.

Never saw RPM. Disney stopped airing PR during Jungle Fury, which I found to be pretty awful from what little I did see of it. The guy they got to play Rio was not only butt ugly, but he couldn't act for ****.

SPD is not horrible, but it is the Disney villains that ruin the show. 70's Toku Reject Disco Skeletor was a terrible villain in the design department and is what ultimately ruined the show for me. Now to be fair, I was not all that impressed with DekaRanger back then, so I will admit I did not give SPD a fair chance in the long run. It is one of the seasons I plan to visit some day on Netflix and give another shot to due to Linkara's review of it.

Mystice Force, on the other hand, was just a glorified mess. The acting was quite bad. The costumes were pathetic. The pink ranger should never be a DJ. The music was exceptionally horrifying (rap and PR do NOT mix) and every time it had that one stupid theme play, I kept picturing Anakin and Amidala in the field of flowers from AotC. Finally, the way they adapated the Infershia Gods was just pathetic. I know I should not compare the adaptation, but it felt like the threat of them had been removed. However, it did not help that they were cutting down episodes in half, making the footage look like it was on fast forward or something.

BTW, Kira trumps ANY Disney ranger!!!
