Super Robot Chogokin Dekaranger Robo Gallery
22 Attachment(s)
Tokunation.com draws to the near end of it's month-long tribute to Power Rangers: S.P.D. with a gallery of the DekaRanger Robo figure (or Delta Squad Megazord to PR fans) from the Super Robot Chogokin line.
DekaRanger Robo stands at approximately five-and-three-quarter inches tall and is made of both plastic and die-cast parts. The figure has approximately 30 well-placed points of articulation that allow for a wide variety of posing options. The legs (Patrol Trailer and Patrol Gyro) are made of die-cast metal, allowing for weight and balance while posing. DekaRanger Robo comes with a large variety of accessories including four pairs of non-poseable hands (solid fists, fists with small holes, fists with open fingers, and splayed fingers), a single left hand in the thumbs up pose, the Judgement Sword hilt (that can be attached to the Patrol Armor forearm), the Judgement Sword, Signal Cannon, a muzzle flash, and the Gyro Wappa Cuffs. The Bandai of Japan release of the SRC DekaRobo also comes with a miniature Patrol Striker that can combine (along with several other include pieces) with the SRC Gokai-Oh to form the Deka Gokai-Oh. As always, enjoy the gallery! Want more DekaRobo action? Check out: Dx Dekaranger Robo by Den-O Mini Pla DekaRobo by MoonBaseTom Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? This is an excellent figure and my 1st(and only thus far) SRC. I was very impressed by the articulation. After buying this there was no desire for me to buy any Retrofires; I'd rather have the SRC's.
|
Now that's a sexy robot :thumb:
|
So we ended up celebrating Power Rangers S.P.D. with toys from Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger?
I find this amusing. |
Dekarobo and Magiking are the 2 absolute best SRC's I've handled.
|
This post just made me try to buy one.
|
So...Was there another release of this by another company?
Anyway, it's a gorgeous figure, but never one I particularly sought after. |
I either missed or forgot about the fact that the Gokai parts come with the respective SRCs. Looks like I'll need to look for Gokaioh and Magiking. Possibly Shinken-Oh too.

Magiking was going to, but they didn't for some reason. Shinken-Oh was never going to have the parts(partly because Gokai-Oh didn't exist at the time, partly because Shinken Gokai-Oh is more than just some stuff in his chest), though there was supposed to be a stand alone Shinken Gokai-Oh, but, again, it didn't happen. At least, that's what I think... |

I have all 5 Sentai SRC and love them a lot, they look brilliant posed nicely together and all come with good accessories.
However, I will they that they definitely improved as they went along. Shinken oh looks the worst and was the earliest, while Daizyujin looks the best and released latest. They definitely learned how to improve as they designed them. Dekaranger Robo definitely comes with the best accessories and he's one of the best in the line, too. I really wish we got Magidragon though, but it was just another Murphy... |
Does Bandai ever reissue SRCs? I really want this and Gokai-Oh.
|
This is one of the few megazords I'd consider buying, I went into length about how I feel about the mech portions of sentai/pr but this was a pretty mobile and streamlined mech by the standards of these shows which warmed me to it more than the obese junk piles of most seasons.
|
Figures like this make me more eager for Daibouken and Gekitouja!
|
The SRC DekaRobo is easily one of the best of the Sentai SRC. I have all of them and I consider them to be must buys!
|
Best SRC hands down. Even Daizyujin doesn't stand up to this guy.

Meanwhile, DekaRobo has taken several 6 foot falls from a shelf onto my bed without any damage/scuffs/scratches whatsoever. |
I think Daizyujin and Dekaranger Robo are both pretty great. It's at that point they really perfected translating both the manoeuvrability and the blockiness the on-screen robots to the figures. I think Daizyujin wins out because he's a bit bigger, but Dekaranger Robo is perfect in his own right.
Shinkenoh and Gokaioh lack the proper "blockiness" of the suits, in my opinion, while both are still brilliant, they look a bit lanky compared to the others. Magiking is beautiful, but he looks a lot more stylised then the others, making him a bit of a stand-out. |
Now, if only GekiTouja could get that same SRC release.
Or should I consider that to be banished to the same warehouse Rio and Mele are currently chilling at? :p |

But, in what ways can they screw up? (Keeping in mind the only SRC Sentai figure I have is Daizyujin) |

I think Gekitouja has a design that will lead to a great SRC. I'm also very excited for Dairenoh, too, but I feel like both of them won't come out for ages, if they ever do. |

I do think Dairenoh won't have the same lankiness problem (And it'd be great to have that design without it being a brick), but GekiTouja lacks a lot of bulk, so it might suffer the same lankiness problem. |

I admit I still haven't seen Go-Buster vs Gokaiger, but I'm pretty sure FlashKing and GaoKing are in there too, whom we haven't seen any pictures of yet. Unless I'm missing something. |
Dairenoh has only ever been seen once as a prototype. Same thing for Sun Vulcan Robo.
|
So, random thought concerning SICs in general.
How are their legs constructed? Because SRC GekiTouja could include an alternate right leg to make GekiTouja Wolf if their legs are made in a manner that can be detached without ruining the figure. |
The SRC Gekitouja prototype looked amazing. If it ever comes out it has potential to be the best Sentai SRC
|
It's really awesome toy. I think it is best SRC Super Sentai Robot ever.
Excellent articulation, massive amount of diecast..just..just awesome to the MAX. |

I am torn over if DaiZyujin or MagiKing is the 2nd best. Definitely awesome figures all. I wish they would do more SRC Sentai!!! |
