Titanium Ranger Confirmed in Super Megaforce
 

Just now on his Facebook page, Jason David Frank, known by most as the legendary Tommy Oliver, posted a group photo with some of the other rangers. What makes this newsworthy is that you can clearly see the Titanium Ranger suit will be used in Super Megaforce!

How he will be used is unknown at this time, but stay tuned to Tokunation to find out!

Just in case anyone else didn't see this, Jason David Frank posted a group shot on his facebook from filming. In this very clear picture it shows the Titanium Ranger!! I just don't have the time to copy the image over here, but if one of the Admis could that would be fantastic! Also if this needs to be moved I apologize as I'm in a hurry.

Yet we can't get the actor behind the mask. But we get her sister. (Not that I'm complaining, just saying)

I'd still like to know what exactly he spent all this money on. He said it'd be the most expensive season ever... Yet.

I find this more insulting than thrilling.

It almost seems like everyone would have been happier if they just straight up didn't have the suit in there if you couldn't get the forgettable actor in there.

Honestly, the Legend War scene was pretty poor. Because it had to focus on so many characters, some characters were only glanced at for milliseconds, while others got to perform a full pose for their scene. It was impossible for it to give each team a proper and fair amount of screen time, I understand that, but giving the Jetman team like, 15 seconds for their flight while other teams like Dairanger or Ohranger were barely footnotes, it was just too imbalanced.

The Legend War is similar to the Rider War scene in Decade.
It's cool to see the first two or three times you watch it, but when you get down to the nitty gritty, it's really just a nicely shot, but poorly directed scene.

Hopefully with basically half the amount of teams the US one will be slightly better, at least in terms of team focus.

my guess the visor is missing on the helmet, seeing as its probably the old suit used during lightspeed rescue

They will probably mostly focus on the Cameos.

At least the suit is actually being included.

But why wouldn't they just hire Toei or any cosplay company to just make a replacement visor before filming?

I can also make out Magna Defender, Jungle Fury Yellow, Gold Samurai Ranger, Time Force Red (Jason Faunt/Wes), RPM Ranger Red, and Wild Force Blue in the background.

We saw a lot of those from other pictures, though (And Quantum might be standing beside Time Force Red).

Am I the only one who thinks the helmut looks different?

Not a bad theory, but I don't buy it. That would mean that the mask thing is integrated into the helmet and not just thing they where on their face under the helmet.

I'm still really, really excited to see the suit will be used, actor issues aside. But if the visor is missing in the entire thing... well that's just plain lazy and another disappointment. :/

I wouldn't go that far to say that. The Legend War scene wasn't even the focus point of the movie. If you look back at any anniversary film that had more than one team assisting the current team, they were only there for show and nothing more. All the audience needed to know was that the war happened because the out come of the war is how the Ranger Keys were made which IS the main focal point, to sale toys. Which ever team the directer decided to feature during the battle was at his own digression or probably the most reconcilable, who knows. The fact is, it's not possible or even important to focus on all 34 teams during a 5-10min scene when you have a TV show that you can dedicate a whole 25min to whichever team you want. The movie was about the Goseiger, Gokaiger and SUPER SENTAI as a whole, nothing more. This Legend War scene tends to misguide people, especially when they don't get to see their favorite team in action. Yes the war was the hook of the movie just like cars and pretty girls are the hook to a Fast and Furious movie.


The mouth piece is integrated into the helmet, it's kinda obvious when you watch either Lightspeed Rescue or GoGoFive. There is even a scene in Lightspeed where Kelsey is holding her helmet and you can see the mouth piece through the visor. I'm sure that's the only version of the helmet they had, and it's cheaper to edit the footage with CG to have the visor closed than to fix the actual helmet LOL!


It was spent on the CG to fix Titanium Ranger's helmet LOL!

Also, Captain Mitchell exposits about Ryan for the first time after the Titanium helmet's visor pulls back to reveal part of Ryan's face.
Maybe that helmet was used for this shot?

Still don't know how you can recognize the face of someone you last saw when they were seven, though.

because its a tv show, anything is possible, better yet, its power rangers where is logic is thrown out the window more than a cartoon villians "evil plan" :lol

As well as continuity with the other various V-shaped gizmos in the show.
