S.H.Figuarts Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger US Release Info
 

While it may be a Web Shop exclusive in Japan, Bluefin via Facebook just made the announcement that they will be releasing the brand-new S.H.Figuarts Ptera Ranger to North American retailers, as the Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger!



The price has yet to be determined, but Ptera Ranger has been slated for a November/October 2013 release date.

According to Bluefin's post, she will featured "Special Power Rangers 20th Anniversary packaging".

She will definitely be cheaper to get in the US than the Jp version, and since she won't have any AkibaRanger accessories to worry about, that works for me.

I'm tempted but will pass on Pink Ranger... Until I possibly change my mind!

A full MMPR team would be awesome, but pricey too... Hrn... Just give me Yellow already!

Apparently it will have or Sentai exclusive accessory, but it hasn't been announced what.

I hope all the MMPR will get a bluefin release so I won't have to spend as much collecting them as buying them from Japanese retailers.

It's kind of a given that they will be they will all be distributed in the US. Exclusive or not, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I doubt there is anything outside of maybe just giving her (and the other ZyuRangers) the Powerful Rangers neck and belt since they already have them made. And I'm not going to worry about it since they weren't in the actual show.

From my understanding, the box is in English ala Red Hawk and has PR logos instead of ZyuRanger ones.

Just as our release of src daizyujin had the mmpr logo printed on the box.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure they showed off the package to Tyranno Ranger back at Toyfair and it was a new box.

Yeah, they've shown what Dragon Ranger and Tyranno Rangers boxes will be released by Bluefin.
The middle, of course, will be clear, but all that's changed is the MMPR 20th logo on the bottom, they still say "Tyranno Ranger" and "Dragon Ranger" and have the Zyuranger-esque cave border.

The red and green ranger have completely different packaging in terms of layout and appearance, not just swapped logos. The packaging for white and beyond I have not yet seen yet.

No, they don't:

The green and red parts in the middle are just fill-ins. On the actual boxes they'll be clear to showcase the figure. Every Sentai series has a different box, those are just the Zyuranger's with the MMPR 20th logo on it.

I am telling you, as an official statement, that they are completely different. The JP box does not look like that and the American box no longer says Tyranno or Dragon Ranger.

OK, didn't realize you worked for Bluefin and that the revealed boxes weren't the actual things.

Seems pointless to hide the fact that their roots are Zyuranger, but eh.

We don't have any basis for comparison any way since the Japanese boxes haven't even been seen. Saying they're even remotely similar is complete speculation.

This isn't our call, this is all purely licensing related, including the U.S. MSRP which reflects additional licensing fees and royalties not found in Japan.

Not really; most of the people buying this in North America have no clue what Zyuranger is.

They just see that they're really good MMPR figures. Adding the Zyuranger stuff will just create confusion for the average nostalgic MMPR fan, especially if these get stocked at retail.

Sweet, time to save money to preorder her :lol but i hope there isnt to much differencebecause i kinda like to display my SHF in box right now, now i have a stand comin so that might change. But since i am gettin Red/Tyranno and Green/Dragon from japan, it might make my ocd run rampant. :lol

Never mind I could see the Power Rangers SHFs potentially making it onto TRU shelves or something.

With the way Shinken Red shelf warmed, it's highly doubtful that Bluefin will be trying that again.

Well, now, I think I'll be adding her to my list. Only wanted to get the 6th Rangers out of each team along with the whole Gokaiger and Akibaranger team, but guess I'll complete MMPR. Just need the cash to get these all :lol

Dude seriously? Damn my TRU deosnt have any of them anymore which is kind of surprising to me. I do think though that the MMPR ones will do good.
