Go-Busters to air in South Korea as "Power Rangers: Go Bursters"
 

Thanks to poster ZeroKing2010 of Rangercrew, we have our first look at the logo and name for the forthcoming South Korean dub of the 36th Super Sentai series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters!

As with previous shows, Go-Busters will air with the Power Rangers name. Oddly rather than continue the "... Force" trend we've seen with previous Korean dubs, the series shall be titled Power Rangers: Go Bursters.

You know what... that's a pretty cool name.

Eh. I was hoping for some kind of Force name, but for what it is, it's not terrible.

Awesome Logo, but why have they changed it from Busters to Bursters? Is it a Japanese to Korean language thing?

That or the Korean Dubbers thought "Burst" sounds cooler than "Bust."

Ok, Bursters sounds like one of the guys I know who talk heavily southern say Busters :lol

I was thinking it was an "ERMAHGERD" style pronunciation of Busters, myself :lol

Burst is a word I associate to zits, therefore it isn't a pleasant word.

So the title both made me chuckle and then go 'urgh'.

I like it, if the merica version can keep the title close to this logo and all then thats all I need, that and good toys from BoA.

That logo is pretty awesome. It might have been cooler if they called the show Buster Force or something like that, but too bad.

I guess they wanted to keep the "GB" thing going since its plastered all over the show.

I kind of want the English Power Rangers season to treat the GB as an organization employing the Rangers and call the Rangers something else.

Sort of like how Thunderbirds has an organization called International Rescue that calls their giant vehicles the Thunderbirds.

As a massive Thunderbirds fan, I approve of this idea. Totally works for the show too!

I wish but after finally watching an episode of Megaforce yesterday for the first time, I doubt we'll get anything worth while. And as for the toys.......what deluded world are we living in where we hold hope for BOA?!!?!?!? Either way, I still need Buster Machine 0 Frog so as soon as I get that, it won't matter to me either way.

I am going to assume they just spelled it wrong unintentionally. Technically it is the same Go-Busters with a Korean audio + localization. Eitherway, WOOT!

Hiromu -> Jacky (what??)
Ryuji -> Ryu
Yoko -> Rabi

It is kind a disappointment that Hiromu or ryoko couldn't get traditional Korean name.
Jacky sounds like hongkong name of some asian dude, and Rabi sounds like famous
animal, rabbit, not a girl's name.

Good news! They finally accept their fault and change the name to 'Go-busters'.
Korean publishing producers maybe thought that there's no different between 'bust' and 'burst'. Because most Korean doesn't care about usage of a single word.
